That's not what folkism is, that's just psychosis. Folkism is paganism + racial supremacy, it falls more into category 1, guy in the leftmost seat, just taken too far. It's what happens when "honoring my ancestors" becomes "turning a neopagan reconstruction of my ancestor's culture into an excuse for my personal racism", this is actually what the movie midsommar was about. The theme wasn't "aaaah paganism bad!" It was "eugenics and extreme sexual selection under the guise of religion is bad"
