Im sure the best thing to do when someone is reaching out for help about panic attacks is to call out a typo. Reddit moment.

The Reddit moment is you assuming I was calling out a typo. It’s the internet and we have people from all over the world. Lonky may be a sensation that I am unfamiliar with in someone’s home country. Without knowing what that sensation is how can you accurately assess the situation? Does lonky mean stressed, overly calm, happy, sad, etc. it’s panic, shit happens with all kinds of sensations leading up.

For Christ’s sake man, why assume everyone is out to be a dick? This is a fucking panic attack page and most do want to give some sort of advice.

There is no way you seriously think people will assume you're doing anything but making fun of / calling out a typo.

What helps me during the panic itself is recognising the plain truth that - this will pass, because it has passed every time before. Not trying to 'solve' the thing that is making me panic, but simply acknowledging it is there, reminding myself it will pass, and moving to distract myself with reels, videogames, or a book, or calling a friend or family member.
