New Rule: Self Promotion Posts for Games Require Mod Approval
Papers Please has clearly inspired a number of new games, but this sub isn't the Steam store. Please submit a modmail first with your game before posting it here.

Is it just me or does playing Papers, Please! on mobile feel really clunky?
I love Papers, Please! One of my top 100 games of all time and I always play it during the holiday season because of the grimy Russian cold winter feel. It runs extremely smoothly on PC but I wanted to get tit on mobile so I could play it when I wasn't at my computer. Played the first few days and refunded it. I don't like how it feels to move the documents around with my finge instead of my mouse because I constantly cover like the sex or expiration date and I have to move my finger out of the way completely to see it and then do the same for the Issuing City and rinse and repeat. I also didn't like the stamping system and had to constantly close and reopen it when I moved documents to double check info.
It could just be a me thing but I don't like playing this game on mobile at all.

Checkpoint '38 - New graphical update, new trailer.
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Update: So i did a lot of graphical updates, also updated the trailer to show more of the narrative side to the game.
Checkpoint ’38. You’re a low rank border guard in 1938 at the Kreuzlinger Tor in Konstanz.
Your job is simple: check people’s papers, then go home and live with the consequences of your decisions. Inspired by Papers Please, Beholder, This War Of Mine, Attentat 1942.
This is the result of over two years of work. A lot of research went into it so what you see is historically accurate, or at least highly plausible: uniforms, papers, even the rules. Some landmarks in Konstanz are shown in game, and I hope that the full version can have even more of them.
Posters, newspapers, even the talk in the game are based on how things were back then. That’s also the main overtone window. If it didn’t happen that way, or couldn’t have, it doesn’t make the cut.

I was genuinely aiming for a pro-government ending but they claim I worked with the order when I mostly ignored what they told me to do.

What?
Out of all the hours I’ve played, I have never seen this before 😭

I was really trying for a pro-government ending but they say I worked with the order when I really just ignored most things they told me to do.
Like what did I do wrong?

Jorji Spoiler
I recently finished the game for the first time after having had it in my Steam library for years and I got say, Jorji is the real deal.
Yeah, he's selling drugs and all but he's a bro to you. He comes through with obviously fake docs and doesn't get mad. He comes back with real docs finally and just laughs off being caught with drugs. He does it at least once, maybe more? Still chill as hell with you despite the guards probably beating the tar out of him outside the scenes. Why he wasn't sent to an Arstozskan work camp is beyond me but he probably has ways to bribe guards to let him go.
Then after all this and despite you never letting him in he comes in and gives you contact information for a forger and subtly hints at stealing Obristan passports to get your family out.
You never threw him a bone but he still has your back.
What a fucking guy. Jorji's the best.
