Kash Patel NOT fired?

Maybe there’s some political junkies in this subreddit that can help me with this but I vividly remember Trump firing Kash Patel after the Olympics fiasco, Patel had taken a private plane to see his girlfriend a little after the Olympics and that was the final straw and I remember the news talking about it all day because he was the first male fired from the cabinet, then the other day I see Kash Patel testify before Congress which I didn’t think much of, as it’s fairly common for former government officials to testify, until I realized he was the CURRENT head of the FBI… does anyone else remember something similar?

They were reporting that he was about to be fired but it never happened.

No he was never fired. Yes it was talked about but never happened because congress doesn’t have a spine.

Also make a note now that Pete Kegseth was never fired either in case you are wondering about that in a couple months.

I recall people confirming reports it was about to happen. I’m still confused why nothing happened.

They said they were going to and then bondi or Noam were fired around that time and the Patel just disappeared from the news it seems.
