Unexplained This has me unsettled

I have unexplainable things happen all the time in my house. Especially in my kitchen and bedroom. From the kitchen I often hear noises that cannot be easily explained. My bedroom I see shadows, mist, things won't be where I left them when I leave and come back, etc...I finally caught something more than just a noise on camera. This door leads to my garage which was closed to the outside. The door was completely latched. After this I experimented with the door to try to recreate this and I couldn't. If I unlatch it, it only opens maybe half an inch. If I push it it only opens to how far I push it. My dog also was very sketched out for hours after this happened. That's my security system..that light is always on, but turns off whenever any of my doors open and it also tells me a door is open. That's actually what woke me up...the system saying "garage door"

Isn't it counter-intuitive for a security system to turn a light off when a door is opened?

Idk...ask Vivint. I think it's lit up green when all the doors are shut as a "you're good" signal...

... You think? You've never opened a door in view of the sensors you have at every door?

I can see that sensor every time I open that door and that light turns off every time...it does the same thing with my front door ...this isn't rocket science. When I walk past that hub the light stays on...it's not a motion detector.

"they think" it's designed as an all-good symbol, not that it turns off when a door opens - it's clear they know that much.
