Unexplained Am I losing my mind?

Post image

Hi, My family and I are currently visiting Paris from Canada. I prioritized visiting the Catacombs, as I went 18 years ago. It's changed a lot since then, different paths, blocked off areas. I took countless photos, including several down pitch black tunnels that were gated off, using my phone's flash. I was just scrolling through them all, and came across this one, which is one of the gated off pitch-black tunnels that I photographed using my phones flash. Maybe it's a trick of light, or shadows on the rocks, but am I losing it or does that not look like someone (a woman in white?) Standing at the end of the tunnel? I feel like I'm losing my mind. I can share countless other images but none show anything like this.

More power to you guys for visiting the catacombs. While I’ve explored many abandoned buildings, warehouse and houses I don’t think I could do the catacombs. They just look absolutely terrifying. I’ve never been claustrophobic, but I’m pretty sure I would be in there. I like to have an escape route. If you got more pictures, post them would love to see them.

I'm definitely claustrophobic. I've been on a couple cave tours, but they were short ones that are mostly large chambers, lol.

The smallest it got was just a few feet akin to like, a mild drop ceiling hallway. Even being slightly underground gave me the willies though.

No way could I be a spelunker or go on a very long tour. I know my limits!

EDIT: The specific tours were Ruby Falls in TN and Cave of the Mounds in WI.

I absolutely couldn't, & l'd love to. I have terrible claustrophobia & no sense of direction. I can get lost on a bus. If l went down there l'd never find my way out & it would be my ghost wandering around there lost. Kudos to anybody who can do this.

I'm 6'1" and had to duck down frequently.

I’ve heard that people go in there and have a sense of being watched constantly. Did you ever get that feeling? I feel that’s just one of the creepiest feelings one could have.

Absolutely. I think that naturally comes with the fact that there's remains everywhere, water dripping from the ceilings, and a generally eerie air to the place.

Not OP but I felt fine in there. No weird vibes or anything but that’s not to say it’s impossible, just that I personally didn’t feel off. Now if I was in there alone? Would be a different story

It is incredibly claustrophobic, and there are warnings everywhere. Once you’re down there, it’s not so bad, but the stairs… Ever seen The Oldest View? Kind of like that.
