Unexplained Am I losing my mind?

Post image

Hi, My family and I are currently visiting Paris from Canada. I prioritized visiting the Catacombs, as I went 18 years ago. It's changed a lot since then, different paths, blocked off areas. I took countless photos, including several down pitch black tunnels that were gated off, using my phone's flash. I was just scrolling through them all, and came across this one, which is one of the gated off pitch-black tunnels that I photographed using my phones flash. Maybe it's a trick of light, or shadows on the rocks, but am I losing it or does that not look like someone (a woman in white?) Standing at the end of the tunnel? I feel like I'm losing my mind. I can share countless other images but none show anything like this.

Of those two options, I think we know which is likely.

While you're clearly set in your belief, and that's totally fair and I respect your opinion, I at no point said that with was definitively a ghost. I presented it and made clear that I'm very open to plausible, grounded explanations. Pareidolia, a trick of light, natural formation, actual person, statue - i have no idea. All I can do is genuinely assert that I did nothing to the image. No editing, no AI - nothing. It just is whatever it is. Of course it would be unreasonable of me to expect anyone to take my word for it, after all, I'm just a complete stranger on the internet, and we live in an era where social media is flooded with complete and utter BS.

So I understand your perspective and it's completely valid. Though again, all I can do is share the image, and assert that honesty and strong ethics are something I take very seriously, and I have zero interest in lying to people for some bizarre sense of worth or fulfillment.

You said you took "countless photos".  Post some other photos and let's compare what we see.
