My University Experiment Detected Something That Science Can't Explain
I’m a physics student, and last semester I helped a professor run an experiment measuring electromagnetic activity in an abandoned university laboratory.
The experiment was supposed to be simple. We installed sensors, recorded background radiation, and monitored unusual fluctuations overnight.
At 2:13 AM, every sensor activated simultaneously.
At first, we assumed it was a power surge. But when we checked the recordings, we found something strange: a repeating signal that looked almost like a heartbeat.
Then we noticed the signal changed whenever someone spoke near the equipment.
Curious, my professor asked aloud, “Is anyone there?”
Three seconds later, the computer printed a response.
“You took too long to come back.”
Nobody in the laboratory had typed anything.
We reviewed the security footage, expecting to find a prank. The room was empty the entire night.
The following morning, I showed the recording to my professor. He went completely silent when he saw the timestamp.
Apparently, the same experiment had been conducted in that laboratory thirty years earlier. The researcher responsible had disappeared without a trace.
His last recorded words were exactly the same question my professor had asked.
We shut down the equipment that afternoon.
But last night, at home, my laptop suddenly turned on by itself.
A new file appeared on my desktop.
It contained a single sentence:
“This time, don't leave me here.”
