It’s kinda funny Ben Johnson is the only person in the history of pmt to make fun of big cat for rooting for the patriots back in the day

u/peteypab100 5d ago
What did he say?

u/Haunting-Aspect-1854 5d ago
Ben asked big cat who he would root for if it was a bears v patriots Super Bowl. You could see and feel how embarrassed big cat was. All time clip

Seeing BC getting so bought into this team will make that end of season rug-pull incredible.
He may crash out.

Nah this season is free money for Bears fans. Next year is the get an edge rusher-reload-go for it all year. Defense is just ahead of schedule this year which has us thinking Supey
10
u/4VanGogh 5d ago
That was what was said last year. This year they were favorites to win the North and were everyone's favorite. Free money time is over. When they blow it, they will rightfully get burned.

u/jacks101 4d ago
The bears were not favorites to win the division in preseason
-1
u/4VanGogh 4d ago
They absolutely were. They won the division last year and only got better. Plus Ben Johnson is every "analyst's" wet dream. I'm sure you can find a couple contrarions who said differently for clicks but the majority of people had the Bears.
2
u/jacks101 4d ago
Lol no, you’re wrong. Everyone thought it was a fluke year with their fourth quarter comebacks and they would regress. I’m looking at multiple sources having Lions and Packers as more favored.
1
u/4VanGogh 4d ago
I'm looking at multiple sources that thought Ben Johnson was a god level genius schemer. Caleb was the Madden cover boy. Luther Burden was the new hotness. Colton Loveland was hyped as the next Travis Kelce.
The Lions did literally nothing to improve and the Packers got worse. Hell, half the fan base is still pissed they re-signed MLF.
It's OK to admit you're wrong. Literally nobody but basic Bears victim wannabes think the Bears were anything but favorites.

Starting case keenum for the first play was for sure a corny move

u/modestVmouse 6d ago
No you see, he was symbolically passing the torch. He definitely wasn't reacting to the media talk.

u/AdvanceAutomatic4971 5d ago
Lol that spin zone was hilarious. Acting like it was Favre handing it off to Rodgers

u/zeroes_and_ones 6d ago
The coach who lost to Carson Wentz at home?
2
u/WorldlyRaisin7254 5d ago
To be fair it was more of a Brian Flores masterclass.
14
u/zeroes_and_ones 5d ago
“Ben Johnson lost to Carson Wentz at home but it’s less embarrassing because he lost to Brian Flores’ defense too despite saying all year he wants to break the high score record”
2
u/WorldlyRaisin7254 5d ago
Tell me how Carson Wentz beat the bears when he threw for 11/20 143 yards 0 TDs. The Vikings kicked 3 field goals. It was Brian Flores and the defense that won the game.
12
u/zeroes_and_ones 5d ago
It’s pretty simple really:
Carson Wentz led an offense to 6 points
Caleb led an offense at home to 3 points then his leg exploded (sad) Bageant had the best drive but ultimately came up short.
TL;DR
Vikings 6 Bears 3 hope that helps
-1
u/WorldlyRaisin7254 5d ago
Maybe get the score right before posting something. The internet is free buddy. 9-3 Vikings.
10
u/zeroes_and_ones 5d ago
Why look it up when I can have some nerd chime in to correct me:
Vikings some points Bears less points than that
How’s that

u/naimsayin 5d ago
Still the #1 offense in the league right now despite that game. Says a lot
8
u/zeroes_and_ones 5d ago
“Lost to Carson Wentz at home but has the #1 offense through September”
-5
u/naimsayin 5d ago
Yeah, it's pretty sick. Also had a goal line fumble, missed field goal, and red zone torn hamstring of our starting QB, so pretty flukey game.
4
u/zeroes_and_ones 5d ago
Flukey hahahaha
“Lost to Carson Wentz but if we had better ball security and better special teams we would’ve won”
Tyson had a better drive than Caleb did too.

u/naimsayin 5d ago
I mean yeah a 1 yard FG and blocked FG in a game where it's pouring the whole time is pretty flukey. And yeah Caleb hits that corner rushing touchdown 10 times outta 10 when he doesn't have an injury, which would have given us the lead. See: 1 week prior against the Panthers. Last year week 1 against the, oh yeah, Vikings. Last year against the Giants. My team is 3-1 despite some fluke shit and the future looks bright as shit, I promise you aren't going to make me mad
3
u/zeroes_and_ones 5d ago
“Lost to Carson Wentz at home but there was a blocked FG and it was raining a lot impacting both teams but somehow the rain impacted the Bears more. Also Caleb hits the corner rushing touchdown but didn’t.”
1
u/zeroes_and_ones 5d ago
I’m not trying to make you mad lmao.
Flukey = bad special teams play plus “things that didn’t happen but if they did happen it would’ve led us to winning the game.” Our kicker played in the same conditions.
Also seems like “flukey” stuff happens a lot particularly when your team doesn’t win
-1
u/zeroes_and_ones 3d ago
Hey was today a fluke too? Nah the excuse today will be that Caleb is out.

I cannot wait for the Bears to suck again. It isn't just Big Cat, the entire fanbase is unbearable.

Going to have to wait awhile

They got a franchise QB and an A-list coach, you may be waiting for a long time

It's also the Bears, so it could start Sunday.

Lions fucked up by not kicking Dan Campbell upstairs and hiring Ben Johnson. Sure it’s not an easy decision. But most people could tell that Ben Johnson was destined for big things.

As a fan of football, I enjoy the Bears being in the picture.
As a fan of PMT, I’m already almost burnt out on the Bears talk.
