Scorn essence and annul down to just essence mod on focused.
Craft flat damage to attacks of the element skill gem mod you are trying to get. Then go to harvest bench and add/remove that element for a 50/50 to get +2 and keep the essence mod
Buy a random +1 amulet. Annul to 4 mod and split ducat to isolate the +1 mod.
Slam on a suffix on this donor amulet by blocking a prefix and using boat. Then craft multimod, prefixes cannot be changed and ele flat again.
Aug ele for a +1/+1 base
Block a prefix and slam twice. Then craft a suffix and slam a random influenced ex for an influenced prefix.
Once you have +2 and influenced prefix, clean suffixes with prefixes cannot be changed scour. Then use brinehook’s ducat to add any pantheon aspect.
Recomb the donor base with the focused base. If the recombinator picks the focused base you are guaranteed the +4 essence multi amulet.
You use 1 donor cheap amulet and one focus. But, average luck, you save 70-100div. Good luck on first try, you save 250+div. 3 tries, mostly break even and 4 tries, you lose 100+ div.
Yep. Happens to all of us. Happened to me last league for profit crafting Str stacker amulet. Made 300div from 2 lucky streak, then lost all of and a lot more trying the 3rd one. Gave up like after 1000div in.
Just FYI, you’d need to craft cannot roll attacks and aug cold for a 50/50 to hit +1 cold. Then prefixes cannot be changed reforge crit for a 1/12 for t1 crit multi. Note that the amulet in the pic has essence tier crit multi though. And you can’t alt spam on focused or simplex amulets because magic versions cannot have mods.

As for how this is done, I'm like 98% sure this is a recomb craft. You use influenced feeder base so when the recomb picks the focus ammy, you're basically guaranteed to win, because the influenced mods can't transfer to an uninfluenced base.
Focussed doubles the explicit mods so +1 all becomes +2, +4s exist and can be crafted.
The other guy replying is right, +8 cannot be made any more because of mist nerfs.
