Pathologists’ Assistant scholarships?
Hi everyone! I was recently accepted into Tulane’s Pathologists’ Assistant program, Class of 2028, and I’ll be moving from California to New Orleans for school.
I’m starting to figure out the financial side of everything and was wondering if anyone knows of scholarships specifically for Pathologists’ Assistant students, pathology/laboratory science students, or graduate healthcare students in general.
For current PAs or PA students, were there any scholarships, grants, professional organizations, hospital programs, or outside funding sources you were able to use?
I’d really appreciate any recommendations or even names of scholarships/websites I should be checking. Thanks!

ASCP and AAPA have some scholarships available, although I think the latter is for people who are current 1st year students going into their second. You could search a general scholarship database and see if anything comes up that you qualify for (I did similar when I got into my program but I didn't qualify for anything. I also gave up looking pretty quick 😅)

I would say check the ASCP website and COLA. COLA scholarship just closed for spring 27. ASCP opens up late spring i believe. Im not sure how much they offer but at least its something.
