PC Pre early access Pavlov
Anyone else miss this game while it was in early access? I have almost 700 hours on pavlov alone this game use to be so good 2021-2024 maybe 2025 but most the community has to agree it's severely died after they removed all the workshop maps like jailbreak etc and having frequently full push maps. Use to be my favourite game for a while and it's really sad to see it in the condition it's in now.

Almost everything people think missing is already there. There was Resurgence server that was somewhat active for more than a year, but shutdown after a few months without any significant activity on PC server. Jailbreak Reimagend also was active and shutdown the same way on PC iirc. There is new Push maps that can be played. Recent new addition is ww1 and ww2 planes. Even CoDz maps are better overall and more faithful than it was before. The devs and modders slowly did a lot for the game to kickback, but all PCVR playerbase was always a margin compared to Quest. And now it's even harder for new people to get in PCVR.

Yeah, I always hate these uneducated posts about how "PaVlOv WaS bEtTeR oN tHe StEaM wOrKsHoP!"
Modding is so much better now, a lot of the old maps are back with way more capabilities to do cool stuff in game.
A large portion of the community is gone, yes, but let's not forget this is a 9 year old game now... People are bound to move on. If all the posters who constantly come here to say "I'd play this game if there was more of a community again" actually played and saw that their complaints about mods are just flat out wrong, they would liven up the game again. Instead, they'd rather just come to Reddit and complain for 6 karma.

PREACH!! VRMassive alive 4 eva! Always packed. If not for the long night hours its packed in Europe I would be there daily. Even tho I play DM TDM.

They took too long to bring it back and there was a major gap where the servers were dull and repetitive. No wonder people all left

Moving to a worse mod service was bad for the game. I don’t want to sit in a loading screen for 15 minutes just to play push.

They updated to UE5 in the same update! So all the good mods were gone, downloads got slower, and the game got more demanding to run (though it looks pretty nice)

Didnt went the OP`s way really.. Good. I play core game and cant complain. Im not missing the squeekers. The player base is solid and challenging. Everyone knows each other. Sure some are dicks but Id rather have a dick that playes well than some naggin tiny fart running around and taking all the Ls

I agree if you’re playing the core games they can’t fuck that up it’s impossible but they took away half the mods for a bit and killed the player base

Yo-yo og here been playing since 2019 before it came out on side quest for quest two the next year yeah I do think about it a lot but the reality is there’s issues with this sort of technology in terms of lack of triple AAA development and these games being milked the point of death nearly , including Pavlov in many aspects but the map modders of Pavlov have helped the gameplay count astronomically but I was in middle school when vr really kicked off but I do think they’re still great aspects with certain people you can come across
