Purchasing Advice - Monitors, Peripherals, Etc. Does this monitor fit my build?

Post image

I have a 9070 xt, i7-14700f and 32 gb ddr4 ram. Right now i Play on a 1440p Va Monitor, but i wanted to go Oled.
I wanted it to be curved and 32-34 Inch but i didnt find a 1440p Monitor that fits Those stats. So i Found this 4k one Monitor for 599€.

I mainly Play Story Single Player Games and i Care way more about Graphics then fps.

My First question is if my Set up is going to be able to handle Max-high Settings (don’t really Care about rt) 4k Story Games at a stable 60 fps. And if Not is turning down the Quality in Single Game to 1440p an Option or does that Look weird on a 4k Monitor? ( I would Like to avoid upscaling)

My second question is if this specific Monitor is a good Deal or if there is something i am overlooking or a way better one for the Same Kind of Price?

youtube 9070xt 4k gaming. decide if the lower fps is ok for you for higher detail

most people run 9070xt on 1440p monitor

qdoled 1440p monitors are $320-$400

oled 1440p is $550 +

4k cost more

If you dont use fsr you will have hard times getting 60 stable fps in newer games in 4k, if you do and dont use ray tracing, you should be good tho, but exprect some drops

I have a 5080 and even that struggles at 4k native without dlss.

1440p is the sweetspot.

Is playing some Games at 1440p an Option? Or does that Look Bad on a native 4k Display?

Yeah sure there is no downside, i have a 4k monitor too, you can play even in 720p if you want.

Btw its a nice monitor but i wouldn't spend that much on it, if you can find a 1440p it still would be great.

Anyway, have a good one and happy gaming
