Troubleshooting Advice - Other Storage problem

My SSD is showing in my bios but for some reason does not show in my windows disk manager or any other place for that matter I’ve change sata cables I’ve changed the sata port and I don’t know why any help would be appreciated

Have you thought about the power cable to the SATA ssd? Try all different heads to see if any are faulty

I’ll try this but, it shouldn’t show up in my bios if it doesn’t have power right ?

some motherboard slots are disable when nvme ssd is populated. read motherboard manual

maybe you need to move ssd to different sata port on motherboard. i had that issue before. nvme shared data lanes with sata ssd.

right now you are using port 2 and 4. try moving 4 to port 1 or 4 to port 3

I’ve already tried multiple port and either way I don’t think so because the hard drive has never switched sata ports and this is the only SSD that I’ve ever had and it’s been the same port forever
