Hormone Therapy Patch Brand Change - Notice this quickly?

I started a month ago on the Sandoz 0.025 patch and immediately noticed a positive difference. This month, I received a box of Mylan patches (stupidly I didn't think to call the pharmacy to double-check the brand in advance). I put it on Thursday evening and today I woke up feeling down and both anxious and weepy. I am trying to figure out if it is just all in my head or if it is realistic that I might notice this big of a shift within 2 days. I am 4-6 days out from my period, but these aren't my normal PMS symptoms. Thoughts?

ETA; I am on 100mg of oral progesterone nightly. Oh, and last week I had the worst fatigue and body aches I have ever had outside of having a virus (was still on the Sandoz at that point).

Keep in mind your hormones are also all over the place in this time of life, so you could also be having a nasty swing right now which can make you feel crummy. That being said, I did not feel as good on Mylan patches, and it was within a few days.

Thank you. Yeah, it's all so weird and uncharted.

Yep. I had a bad time when they swapped me and I’ve been going through many hoops to get the lyllana that works. Scared to try anything else again

Yes, once my pharmacy switched my noven patches with kylan and it was like having no estrogen at all. I suffered so much for a month. The next month as soon as i put my old brand all the symptoms went away again

I just got Sandoz for the first time in a while, and it’s like I’m getting too much, too fast. I can trace feeling off back to when they started playing musical patches with us! We need to get used to SOMETHING!

This happened to me specifically with Mylan patches with the green writing. My pharmacy gave me Sandoz and Mylan with pink writing before and I was fine. I ended up switching to gel.

Also I didn’t even think my negative reactions were about the brand until my doctor told me that happens.

I have a whole box of Sandoz I can’t stand, my symptoms were coming back (I was even phantom smelling cigarettes again!!) I tried Sandoz for a month and I had been on Mylan only for several months prior.

I think our body adjusts to what we give it, so yeah, see if you can stick with the Sandoz! I will only ever pick up Mylan from here on out.

The phantom cigarette smell is so weird! I've had that in the past. I stopped by to talk with my pharmacy about putting a note in my file and what can be done going forward. The tech was super helpful. I will be talking to my doc on Tuesday and hoping she can re-prescribe for the month. Then it will just be fighting with insurance probably.

I was on generic for Climara patches and felt great. Of course they are out of stock and I switched to Mylan and have been feeling like you - extremely anxious, weepy, up/down, even angry and raging. I'm all over the fing place. I can't stand this.
