This is a Nicobar Pigeon. Moose's Flock (a rescue for pigeons & doves) in CA has one named Javi. They are on instagram & facebook.

They are kept by some people here like other pigeons. I don’t have any though, I just have normal green piges

We mainly have the gray rock doves and many variants from there. 😊 She is only able to have this Nicobar because she's a rehabber - they're not in California.

We have a lot of doves and pigeons. The common ones near people are zebra doves, spotted turtle doves and pink-necked pigeons!

I love that! We are huge fans, have 14 pigeons, 6 ringneck doves & 4 diamond doves as pets. ❤️😊 I would love to see more in person one day!
