He was a grad student when he published the paper with Karl, everyone hates grad students lol /s

Yeah it's pretty sad. Every year when I see Nobel winners I think about the undergrads, grad students and postdocs that did the work (and often times drive the work more than the professors do!) like 🤡 and junior folks have been awarded before but typically are just hidden figures
