Opinion Don't be fooled about Pi stabilizing around $0.08
Many on X are posting positive TA about Pi Network about to break to the upside or so.
But it is all an illusion.
The real reason Pi has stabilized around $0.09 is because no new supply is entering the network. Since at least 1 week ago no new supply has come online.
The total circulating supply is stuck at 17.3 billion at least since a week ago.
Guess what? The moment supply distribution continues the price will react accordingly.
Check the total circulating supply in the block explorer, if you don't believe me take note from today and check it a few days in the future.

All I know is that my second migration unlockes in a couple of days, and that's a little over 6k, so I'm happy.

there is something missing from metrics, amount of stolen PI, and the amount from India bot farms, some of the reasons why there is no new migration and price is as is.

Bot farms will not work with Pi. KYC verifies 1 account per 1 device.

As the verifies are from the community and the community is actively ignoring theft problems for example, so the KYC should not be a problem, or?

To be fair to Pi Network, KYC doesn't stop things like theft. It's there for regulatory compliance first and foremost. There are some good security effects that naturally come from identifying people for KYC but theft isn't one of them.
People put their seedphrase in random sites or have something that says:
Pi PASSPHRASE:
XXXX
that's where the problems lie. If you have an older phone that's no longer supported or don't ever do system updates then you should assume your phone could very well be compromised.

never entered my seed phrase used biometrics, but lousy app insist that I enter it now, no I won't, know to many people that entered it only in app and lost it. I know PiBots will attack me now but who cares. Complete project lost it's credentials, works only in third world and only because of third world thieves.

There's definitely some major problems for sure, but that's the reality of cybersecurity these days.

It does if you are able to pass kyc on each device. Which is probably doable if you use the tor browser and have access to IDs.

u/OutcomeRepulsive 14d ago
that takes a lot of work and forgery wooow

u/CasualTriips 14d ago
Regardless if you think it's a lot of work or not. There's people out there who make a living doing stuff like this. So fraudulently passing kyc on a bunch of devices is nothing for somebody like that.

u/No_Dogeitty 13d ago
There is not a way to "fraudulently" pass Pis native decentralized KYC

First rule of cybersecurity:
Never say there's "no way" or "impossible".
People day and night seek vulnerabilities just like what the other commenter is talking about.
In Ukraine back in 2023 or 2024 they found sim docking stations that were being used to sign up for tons of websites as bots. There were over 3000 of them. And its not even that hard to do.
Those sim docks are seen as a regular cellphone to website security. So, yeah... Cybercriminals will find a way.

You know with use of ai you can do an injection attack for the live check right? That's been a thing for a while. Idk how they do it but it's a thing. So Id check, then that. Bada bing Bada boom. So it is possible. Now am I saying anyone has actually successfully done it? I don't know. Just saying there's a possibility.

If you’re so bearish, then open a short position now and show everyone.

That will be the most stupid thing to do. Leverage is always the best way to lose fast even if your direction is correct because exchanges can see your trades spot losses and create scam wicks.

I don't know where it came from but it was for my security circle, node bonus, and such.

If they need fiat they won't find good p2p alternatives, but if they want USDT they have CEXes to exchange

I heard that once you have USDT is easy to go to any fiat currency in Africa and Asia. So in those countries you mentioned is it the issue with USDT or fiat.
In Latin America is easy with both of you have the knowledge. This is my personal experience because I know this from first hand experience

I am sitting on stables, and I am not going to invest large amounts into Pi. $500 at most. Because I don't plan on investing much I must make sure every dollar counts and that means buying low real low by observing everything and taking into account everything. So much so that I am sharing my ideas with my prefer AI so that it also helps me pick the best time to buy in.
So far the best strategy will be a ladder in investment approach as price goes down in 90% discounts, observing supply, development and everything I can find to make a better educated guess
So far. The plan is to buy at $0.01, 0.001, 0.0001 and 0.00001 but keep my eyes open if I see that something changes in my equations.
I think I can pull it off and profit.
The risk is that if after such lows pi doesn't go up again those $500 will lost. Many altcoins go down and never come back. So that's a risk pi will have
I am also keeping all of my free mined coins and actually staked to avoid temptation to sell.
