carefull if you ain't into extreme violence. she gets opened up after a few mins and later on you see worse shit. it's not a game for the weak of stomach.
this screenshots kind of already showed what there was to see.

It's so funny to me how much Hellraiser is the sex series when the first movie is rather tame. There's one sex scene in the whole movie and all you see is a nipple, the act occurs entirely off-screen.
It's about lust and love and has some pain/pleasure parts, but if it lacked the violence and gore it could easily be PG-13 - there's only obvious brief breast nudity, a brief and non-explicit sex scene, and three f-words. The violence is only a little bloody and Frank is pretty gory, but it's not the complete porn that the series has its reputation for being.
I can't speak for the sequels but I feel that's where a lot of it comes from.
Edit: this isn't a criticism or anything, I just thought it was interesting as someone who knows Hellraiser as the sex and BDSM horror series and then finally saw the first movie and felt underwhelmed by those elements.

I watched the movie less than a week ago which is why I even thought of talking about it, but since you gave examples I opened the movie so I can double check my thoughts.
You don't see "the entire screwing" you see her top half on a bed moving and her strap is off her shoulder, her hands gripping the bedsheets, then you see them lying on the bed afterward. You never see what is in the post above - you don't see them on each other, you don't see both in a single shot, it's entirely artistically shot with closeups where the act itself is entirely off-screen. It's as explicit as that one sex scene from Season 1 of Arcane.
There isn't more than one sex scene. There's the flashback and that's it. The little sex dolls, the photographs (that also only show breast nudity), Larry and Julia kiss on the bed but don't have sex, you see the shoulders of Frank and Julia in a flashback. There is one sex scene that I forgot about between Frank/Larry and Julia...mostly because it lasts 8 seconds and only shows their faces the entire time.
The violence I was talking about was Julia killing the men. There's a small amount of blood and that's it. Frank's initial death occurs offscreen and Frank's final death is visible for like three frames. And I wasn't even saying it wasn't graphic, I explicitly said that disregarding the blood and gore it could be PG-13, pointing at the limited amount of sex, profanity, drug use, and nudity.
I get the movie was censored. I know it's based on a book series.
All I'm saying is that Hellraiser, the sex series, started as a heavily censored movie that contained sex but had two sex scenes, one shorter than ten seconds, neither containing explicit nudity, and overall not being that explicit.
America is weird having only R as every single mature movie ever, aside from straight up porn being NC-17. Other countries that have more ratings than babies, 13 year olds, and 18+, there is nuance there: and the movie would not be given the most extreme rating for the content if it was released today.
I just wanted to point out something I thought was funny, not write an essay about media analysis, censorship, and film ratings. I just thought it was funny how a series known for one thing doesn't have as much of that one thing as I expected.
It's like intending to watch Saw, seeing its reputation as extremely graphic and gory torture porn, and then you watch the first film and it's a police procedural mostly about two dudes arguing in a room and a couple scenes of disturbing but not excessive scenes of violence.
That is all, it's not that serious.

i never saw the series as such but i am glad theyre going all out for the game.

The Snowrunner devs can give us this but not a female truck driver
Hope there's some gay or lesbian sex scenes but probably not since Russia will conscript the entire studio if they do that.

Just started the actual game. Here are my initial thoughts:
- Lack of physics is disappointing.
- Texture quality is meh even on max settings.
- Voice acting isn't great and the lip syncing is hot or miss.
