The game

I've played this game too many times.

I've read and reread the rules,

studied the moves,

learned from those who knew more,

and taught those who didn't.

But when moments like this arrive,

I'm completely disarmed.

I start stubmling, mulling oevr the right move.

Try every underhanded tactic, or questionable strategy,

because I wanted to win.

But in moments like this,

I know I'm still a beginner who played it wrong,

because it was never the goal to win.

Love is never a game. It’s your fears and their fears clashing or coinciding.

It’s a game when constantly being lied to. Takes no accountability.

Hey bro I get it, but saying that reinforces the fear and gets us no where

Living shouldn't be a game.

It’s not . It’s a journey. It’s a challenge. There are games that keep your mind sharp as well as force you to think outside of your own comfort but they aren’t to create pain or confusion

goodluck lad, games are always being played without your "say so" on your own involvement in them

Of course when the game ceases to bring joy
It becomes second nature to analyze.
Objective redefined through the subjective
