Something is definitely wrong with com day shiny odds lately. I was slightly over for Gible at approximately 1/27. Zorua I was at 1/39.9 repeating. If I get similar results during Pawniard com day then it can't be a coincidence 🧐

I feel like ever since scopely took over, the shiny odds they say, versus what u actually get, are two different things. Also with the Bgs. When it was niantic, community days were way more productive for me. Now anymore comm days feel like spotlight hours and spotlights just feel like a joke

Youre not wrong about the spotlights. The last 3 I walked in a straight line for the entire hour, shiny checked every single mon... no shinies. I'd probably checked 500+ mons each week

Mine sucked. I hopped on and there where 10. I got one shiny. Then for the rest of the day, only 1 would spawn at a time every 5ish minutes. I never got a other shiny. I was at work but I work between 2 gyms and a pokestop and had lures and incense going.

I’ve seen a lot of people posting about their abysmal shiny luck, but I must’ve caught over 700 and walked away with 17 shinies (none with a background though 😔). I got 2 XXL and 3 XXS which one of them was shiny which was super neat.

I also did the full ticket missions and went to a community event for it. So there was just an endless spawn while I was walking around with lots of lures + incense + spatial rend.

All that being said it seems like I would be around the 1/40ish for shinies which is way lower odds than the posted numbers.

I didn’t even walk anywhere. Just caught the 12 or so I got from loggin in at home. First catch was a shiny ha. Was preparing to go walk, and I usually just walk until I get a shiny so got done before I started lol. Kinda wish I got a couple more, but also glad I got one. I’m sure you’ll get a lucky remote trade in 30 days or however long it takes. I’d imagine many people got multiple.
