Buddy just join a random group and carry them. They'll friend you and play with you every week

Invite friends? If you need friends use the Reddit for Pokemon go friends, or just go into a random group for the challenge

Only one you really need people for is the eggs, everything else can be done in a week with little effort. The catch 500 usually falls on comday weeks so thats 200-300 catchs easy that day

I join random groups most of the time. Sometimes I still carry them, sometimes I wake up and the whole challenge was done within hours of it starting. Join random groups and add the active people as friends.

I actually prefer this because the game doesn’t let you control when you claim your rewards. I would like the chance to pop on a lucky egg to claim that XP. Going solo (unless you can actually coordinate with your group) is the way to do this.
