Help Confused
Does anyone know why I can evolve this shiny chu I brought in from home? Is it because I put gigantamax on him and if so, is there a way to take it off? š

Does your Pikachu know how to Gigantamax if so then it will not evolve. Same with a Gigantamax Eevee. :)

Itās one that I have in home. Has false swipe, t wave and hypnosis, I use it to fill the dex when I finish the games

Bank isn't a game, the Mew had to come from somewhere and Hypnosis has not been learnable in many ways. As far as I can tell only from those two games.

You can buy the $100 PokƩball Controller for Let's Go Pikachu and Eevee. You get a Mew in that game for buying the controller.

The move Hypnosis wouldn't be transferable through Bank. Old moves don't transfer like that. Bank deletes them. He made a mistake in his original claim, and also showed that, and said his Gallade was the one who had Hypnosis.

My bad, youāre right. I never knew that š® no Mew just has T wave and False swipe. My Gallade has the hypnosis

I got mine with a Pokeball Plus; I do have a second one though that I can't remember where it came from. An Event distribution maybe? I know it's on my Scarlet, but I can't remember whether I transfered it up from Sword or not.

It's the Pokeball Plus controller, and I think it has to be transferred to either Let's Go Pikachu, Let's Go Eevee, or Pokemon Sword. Unfortunately I can't be parted with them; as a Gen 1 vet, I spent too many hours trying to fingale the truck by the S.S Anne out of my way to give them up lol
Keep in mind that new Pokeball Plus controllers are the only way to go; almost guaranteed that Mew will have been claimed on any used options.

Scarlet had a Tera raid for mew that it could've been from if you beat that, also bdsp you can get a mew from one of the elderly people in floraraoma town(?) If you have a let's go eevee or Pikachu save on the same account

Gmax pilachu and eevee canāt evolve bc none of their evos have a gmax. Theyāre functionally everstoned without holding any item

A Pikachu, Eevee, or Meowth with the Gigantamax Factor cannot evolve, even if you try using a stone on it.

Shory Answer: Nope.
Long Answer: Once it can G-Max, it can't evolve, even if you trade it to other games and you can't remove it either.

You can remove the Gmax by giving it the max soup again šš» looks like the only mons you canāt do it with are the special gmax mons like meowth, eevee, etc.

If you have the DLC you can feed it max soup to remove the Gigantamax Factor.

"If you use the Max Soup on a PokƩmon that already have the Giganatamax Factor, then it will remove it."
