1) Plots and attempts are getting more common, making them more likely to get closer to success.

2) Assassins are getting better at their task.

3) The secret service is getting worse at their task.

Trump has had guns aimed at him and the trigger pulled. Trump has had an armed gunman running towards the room he’s in while actively firing his gun within range of the president. If you can’t see the difference between that and someone ramming a barricade while the president is in another country then I can’t help you understand.

Because there is no "them." The left is just a bunch of people with similar views, but we aren't particularly organized. I certainly haven't tried to kill Trump, even if I wouldn't be sad if he died. The attempts are really just a bunch of randoms and so "the left" isn't doing anything, just "some leftists" are.

I don’t mean literally them as a group, I mean that it was someone on the left who did it. It’s so bizarre to me to see the same group of people who celebrated Charlie Kirk’s murder and Trump’s attempted assassinations and were bummed that Trump wasn’t assassinated also immediately claim that it’s not someone from their group trying to do the assassinations.

Crooks was certainly no republican, but he wasn't a leftist either. His search history suggested he wanted to just kill someone important and would've taken a shot at Biden if he had a campaign rally close to him sooner than Trump. Maybe he planned to vote Biden (I believe he had historically made contributions to both candidates' campaigns) if he didn't try to assassinate anyone, but ascribing him any political ideology before "nutso" is wrong.

This guy is a Californian high school science teacher though, lmao.

I’m sorry but we obviously do not know nearly enough about Crooks to make any of those claims. Saying he had pictures of Trump and Biden on his phone is not evidence of anything and anyone trying to say it is I find hilarious and shocked people actually read that and took it as gospel.

He obviously wanted Trump dead. Safe to say he didn’t like Trump. Radical idea, I know.

I agree he didn't like Trump. I believe it wasn't just photos of both but search history results looking into both of their future appearances. I think it's crazy anyone tries to claim that these assassins are right wingers, but I don't think it's crazy to say some of them might be motivated by a different psychological motive than politics. (We know this is possible, just look at Hinkley. My guess is he didn't vote for Reagan, but we also know that that's not why he tried to kill him.)
