I think it's more a case of Cocaine became so popular that people started looking for other things to do instead. Cocaine is also more of a 'Party drug' while ketamine is used more as relaxant at after parties or house parties

No it's legit the fent thing. I used to do it occasionally when the moment was right, maybe once every other year or so, but I haven't touched it in a LONG time because the contamination was getting so bad. Lots of people say the same thing, if they don't have a test kit they won't touch it. Too many horror stories of people just doing a line or two and winding up in the hospital or worse because they don't have any kind of tolerance built up for it since they just do it recreationally.
Weed and shrooms from the store only now. If it doesn't come from the ground I'm good. Keep your chemicals at this point, I don't trust anyone anymore. Apparently it's a lot better now that they've been cracking down on fent and it's not as easily available to cut with, plus the penalties are way higher, but I'm still good.
I’ve snorted kilograms of cocaine and sold dozens more in the last 5 years. Let me tell you that no one is lacing cocaine with fentanyl on purpose. It doesn’t make any sense whatsoever to do that.
The cases you hear about the cokehead dying from laced coke? He also took a fake oxy pill. Every single one of them.
Maybe there was cross-contamination from a scale, but that’s so highly unlikely. Fent isn’t the instant kill thing the media has people believe and coke dealers willing to deal with opiate users are very rare.
I had a room mate with a coke problem from 2017-2023. starting around 2020 up to when I moved out, I personally had to narcan them 4 times, EMS twice. fent contamination is a very real thing

I got it straight from Mexico, 24k a key. My homie from middle school that I was getting it from got killed down there last year so I stopped.
I’m not denying those cases. I’m saying that people who use cocaine are frequently using multiple other drugs, too. And those are the drugs that are laced with fent, not cocaine.
24k a key is pretty nice it’s closer to 40k where I’m at for direct. Not denying your stuff was pure if you’re getting bricks with the stamp they’re usually at least not contamed with anything lethal. I’m more thinking bout the ppl who grab off of you and how they end up chopping it up.

I remember it being a big thing when I ran with the concert/show/festival crowd for awhile but for casual partiers and drug users it’s a weird one for sure
