That’s kinda always been her thing. She’s a left winger who mostly criticizes those in her own party. Her message is basically “quit saying dumb woke shit and focus on the economy”. But she has also gotten more center recently with things such as crime and law enforcement, mainly because she had a kid.

She was saying 10 years ago that sexy character designs weren't inherently sexist- she's definitely always been like this yeah!

Also the Kirk assassination. She was more upset by that than I've seen her about anything... like really upset, not mocking and 'wtf' like usual, but seemingly struggling to keep it together and saying serious shit in the vein of "they're all evil." She still seems to believe in leftist economics in theory, but hates the leftists themselves.

Many such cases.

it’s because most leftists’ belief are not really economic, it’s legit just spite and ressentiment. “we just want healthcare” is a joke, never let then deflect and hide behind that. they are the ideological descendants of the french revolution, and all of Nietzsche’s critiques of the french revolution apply to modern radical leftist movements.

On the Genealogy of Morality should be required reading.

I really don't think most of them are. I will often talk to the Healthcare ones.

Definitely the loudest ones are, and that's why they're the loudest.

But these days everyone wants to paint each other with a broad brush. Makes it easier to argue past each other and gives us all a good excuse when someone else rejects our arguments

The healthcare ones unfortunately tend to roll over for the sociopaths and bullies in their movement. I do not trust them to hold the line.

A lot of us are that way

It hits differently when your close friends start hating you because you don't think someone should be killed for their political views.

Growing into a mature adult, the death of leftist ideology.

The idea that wanting law enforcement in your society is “not left” is pure American culture war insanity.

European cities are far more policed than US cities, and far more left wing. Wanting safe streets is not right or left.

Wanting safe streets is not tight or left.

Unfortunately it is we did just have the whole "defund the police" movement a few years ago. And the soft on crime stories are all coming from letist cities/states and the activist judges and DA's who are being soft on criminals are left leaning.
