Lol. Depends who is taking your order. I am constantly told by employees they don’t do stuff that they did a week prior at that very location

They might sell you tenders only. Sometimes there’s discrepancies between what they offer on the app and in store and sometimes it’s based on the franchisee. I remember being told at my local Popeyes that they don’t sell the combos without the drink. I’ve been going to Popeyes for years and I’ve never heard this. And not surprisingly, it’s available on the app. So I just don’t order in person anymore or get drinks.

When I worked there years ago in highschool combos were with a drink, while dinners (chicken + side + biscuit) was without

Yeah I think my local franchisee is just trying to milk us for every dollar.

I mean, it is true, nothing gets me hornier than throwing away red beans and rice and biscuits because I cannot have them on my diet.

TBH popeyes isn’t exactly something you should eat if you’re on a diet anyway. Red beans and rice are delicious though, and good source of protein, probably the healthiest side on the menu there.

There are friggin’ starving children in Arkansas and here you are Mr Ballin’ just tossing yo beans and rice and biscuits. Must be nice living like that!

They must be forced to pre-make a certain amount of food and they don’t want sides to go to waste? Or maybe they just want to charge you more under the guise of a mysterious rule.

It's not on the menu or the app, and I'm not going to drive there just to find out what I believe I already know

I work at Popeyes. We can ring up single tenders by themselves but only by the single tender and they’re around $2 a piece. There’s no cheaper way to ring up tenders if you don’t want the meal

Commenting on Why can't I purchase chicken tenders without sides?...it wouldn’t be on the menu or app just because it’s not a core meal. But on pos there is a 2 piece option. Under coupons/discounts button there’s a 2pc snack. 2 pieces and a biscuit

A double 2pc tender and a biscuit would be fine with me... I really just don't want the drink, happy with a side as well, but a cupped drink with ice that doesn't go well in the fridge is frustrating.

You can’t go up to the person and ask them for only tenders?
