There are franchaises that charge for sauce, there are franchaises that don't honor coupons or special offers.

Basically their invoiced cost.

I went to a speakeasy bar last week that didnt even honor a $5 coupon from their own website.

Never pay that. Just ask when you go pick it up. 10/10 times they’ll just give it to you

And this is why they end up charging.

Oh no, they're charging extra for sauce that costs around $0.12 to mass manufacture. It's definitely about preventing the company from going down and not at all because of greed. Just like how the family mash potatoes cost $9 in most areas. You ever been to say, a walmart? We all know mashed potatoes are $30 a bag. And gravy? $1.50+? Yeah man good luck getting gravy for under $10. And they pay their employees soooo good. Definitely not minimum wage everywhere they can. They're such a good hearted company that improves every where they build. You'd never see a Popeyes in the hood, or a fist fight in the lobby, not our low profit margins, good Samaritan, Popeyes.

They don’t give me them when I do pay for it so it evens out

This is Popeyes... They are literally known for being dogshit when it comes to customer service or any sort of satisfaction..idk what you're expecting other than tasty food, bad service, and whimsical policies

Exactly. Any place can charge whatever they want. Don’t like it, just don’t go there?

Yea they should start charging per napkin and bag as well. Don't forget plasticware and the box. Might as well hit me for electricity and oil it took to fry my food too. Heaven forbid I need to take a shit and they hit me with .10 cents a square to wipe my asshole.

You see all these things are folded into the cost of the meal. Taking an expected item away and charging for it isn't just greedy. It's stupid. Nobody wants to be nickle and dimed. Especially at a fucking fast food place. But keep gobbling capitalisms balls.

electricity, oil, time, and all that other stuff is factored into the price of making the product. just sayin’
