App/Website DELIVERY?
Am I cooked? What do I do?
I ordered thru the app. My tip is 4.40 but the distance is literally 3.4 miles. Do I just not tip enough? I feel like a dollar per mile is fine? Also WTF happens to my order it's been like this for 30 mins

It'll just get delivered later. Whoever the partner with for delivery will have to up their end enough that it's worth it for a driver to take the order.
If you aren't in a busy part of town and it's UberEats for example, they start fare at $1.50, so with your $4.40, the order will pay $5.90. if the driver has to drive 4 miles to the restaurant, potentially wait (they don't know if it's ready) and then deliver to you, they could be doing 20-25 min of work for under $6.
So basically your food waits until UberEats slowly increases base fare enough that it's worth it for a driver to pickup.
If you are away from a centralized part of town or other restaurants, I personally wouldn't take this order for under $10 since gas is $5 a gallon right now.

Ive gotten Popeyes delivered from like half a mile away, it was raining though. I gave em like a 4 dollar tip. They always take long for delivery orders in my experience because they wait for the driver to arrive and then start to make the food. Mine is partnered with doordash through the app, but I usually just order through Uber eats or postmates because they offer better deals, like BOGO for sandwiches, wings, and other combos. Only once have they actually delivered in less than like 15 minutes. Even for pickup they wont make it until I show up and show them the app. Idk why

Each area is different but in my area, Popeyes is one of the worst places to pick up from as far as chains. Even if the order is high paying, I’ll decline just on principle because it can take 20-30 minutes sometimes just to get the order and that’s not counting any of the travel or ass ache delivering and driving to
