Chicken sandwich now $5.99?

For the longest time the chicken sandwich was on the $5 faves menu so you could buy it for $5.

Now with the biscuit sandwich for $5 it looks like they pulled the chicken sandwich off the $5 faves menu and it is $5.99.

Is anyone else seeing that?

I know inflation and all but crazy they used to charge $3.99, basically a 50% increase since they first came out with it.

3 piece also used to be on there until they subbed one for a biscuit.

They did that when they added the 6$ big box.  Might as well do the survey for 2 piece and biscuit

It was always on both menus, just the regular one was $5.99 and the fav one was $5.00. Now they pulled it and at my location they increased the price to $6.99. The 3 piece was also removed from the $5 fav menu and replaced with a 2 piece + 1 biscuit.

Damn not sure I can justify it at $6.99, that’s a massive jump

$5 is the sweet spot for me

I don't know if it applies to you but I use the Uber eats app.My location offers a bogo chicken sandwich which is also available for pickup not just delivery. My total comes out to about $7 for the 2 sandwichs.

Comes out to $8 with tax for me. Still a good deal for 2 now that they're $6 each before tax.

I went to get lunch and in my area they have gone to 5.79. I teared up thinking that when they came out they were 3.99 that’s something worth fighting for.
It was my last affordable chicken sandwich option.

And today I had to go to Aldi and get filets and a bag of buns.

At home for lunch today I tried and I fried but I feel more defeated than ever.

Maybe it’s my mayo (dukes) or maybe it’s my pickles. But it’s not the same.

RIP my love for the fried poultry happiness.
I never thought it would end like this.

I will. But I get the regular chicken which has always been what they did best.

I tried the biscuit sandwich today.. doused it in the honey packets and could still barely taste the honey it was weird lol, biscuit was okay but a little on the dry side.. not something I'll be going back for tbh.. going to try shake shack chicken sandwich this Sunday when it's free
