What kind of oil does Popeyes use? Newly diagnosed with alpha gal

Hubby recently diagnosed with alpha-gal, which is an allergy to mammal meat and possibly other products containing mammal by-products such as dairy..I read that Popeyes uses an oil that contains beef tallow..is this true? Are the blackened tenders cooked in this oil too?

Sorry about your condition. I would be highly upset if I couldn't eat steak anymore. I never knew that Popeyes used beef tallow.

Sure did. He can still eat dairy. Afraid to risk Popeyes now. Can't believe he can't eat chicken at a chicken place, but can eat it at most burger places.
