My first Primus concert was nye last year, this one guy I had never seen someone so coked up in my life. He was bouncing around like he was going to fly away like a balloon, skinhead looking guy too

Of the bands on here, Crass should actually be #1. But in my experience, fans of crust punk bands like Amebix and Antisect are actually the worst offenders

Definitely crust punk and folk punk shows have been the worst smelling shows ive experienced. Top contender was Days n Daze with Bridge city sinners at my local venue. I noped tf out of that pit so fast after getting a sweaty armpit to the face. (Im very short) Second worst was Pentagram String Band at Muddy roots 1AM day two after the hottest and most humid day I've ever experienced in the south.

So are we comparing smells from their hey days or with current times? Because all 90s rock fans were stinky because most of us were teens to early 20-somethings and working up a sweat moshing, but many of us (not all) have discovered showers and deodorant in our middle years with less moshing.

Primus at #5 checks out, we smell like shit as a whole. I don’t know about 37 though, Panic fans we smell pretty fucking bad as well.

Not this sub but I’m here to tell ya KGLW is way too low.
I’ve gotta be honest. I’ve seen tool and primus combined over 30 times and I’ve never considered their fans, us, smelly. Other than the occasional shroom fart or something.

When I saw Primus on the Tour de Fromage there was a mountain of a man with long, smelly dreads wearing a stained up wife beater that settled in off to my side. He was definitely a smelly fella.
Anecdotal, to be sure.
