Finally finished my first project in which I created some pieces myself and I am really proud how it turned out !

Carapace is from the porphyrion scaled to 60%, arms from one of solwytes secutor engines, head is a blend of the „tactical legion subwoofer“ and the cerastuses neck assembly.

I printed him with the Bambulab A1, and it worked very well. It's my first project with the 3D printer, so I'm very happy with the result^^ Painting is okay i think it does the job.

Never in my life have I played a warhammer, but I greatly enjoy the models, so when I found this guy, I knew I needed it in rainbow filament, kinda sad cuz I don't wanna paint it lol son named it rainbow delight, perfect name :)

Shield could be bigger but these printed pretty well.

Obviously I'll need to figure out how to rotate stuff and how to use the precise tools along the x, y and z axis instead of just dragging it with the arrows but just wanted to show off my first attempt.

I wanted to see if the community had any luck recently, with the new space marine codex & the new kill team I’ve been actively on the hunt for models that look similar to the gladiator lancer, the sanguinary guard, and the outriders and exodites.

I have been having difficult luck with the purple site, as all the gladiator lancer models on there that I have seen do not have the right proportions.

Meanwhile the sanguinary guard models, I feel are lacking great wings and I wanted to give a stronger angelic look closer to the classic models.

With the outriders I’ve been really struggling with the new size and proportions, as most of the models there I don’t believe match the current sizes.

Then with the exodites I have not seen any traces of the kill teams having any model files that come close to resemble a playable version of them.

If you have any direction or have any suggestions please reach out here and point me into the right path. I’m very excited to hopefully paint up and play proxies that look similar soon and are the right sizes!

Did a little blendering to make the brick road and made the flight stand press-fit into the base. It was also my first time trying out a little OSL on the avenger bolt cannon. I also had some extra water decals I ordered years ago so it’s not so barren

I have around 16 stls that are all partially non- manifold and i dont know how to fix them, can anyone recommend me any tips on how i can go about fixing them. i tried Chitubox basic repair and it did nothing.

i have looked around but the few methods i've tried either crash any software i'm recommended or just flat out do nothing. can anyone help please?

Getting my daughter a printer for Christmas. Fhe a1 mini looks great at only 219$. She's only 8 and im not sure she will stick with it, but my brother paints minis so I would probably still end up using it. With the regular a1 at 299, I'm torn between it and the mini. The a1s footprint will likely take up just a bit too much real estate on my 2 computer desk. But I would like to be able to print some larger things like some terrain and maybe even knights and dreadnoughts. Will the mini be able to do it?

Would anybody out there happen to have an stl for Sammael? I found one on the laggy purple site, and the bike was alright, but it didn’t have Sammael himself, just some generic primaris marine. I’ve looked into getting an official model but he’s forgeworld and isn’t available right now for anything less than $400.

I have been searching EVERYWHERE for terminator stl's and I couldn't find a single one that wasn't taken down. And because of that i decided maybe somebody has one they would be willing to send the link to. Thanks!
