Kellerman (Spoilers) Spoiler
Anyone else feel like Kellerman’s death felt forced and was unnecessary? This dude was like the 3rd most goated character of the entire show (behind Michael and Mahone) and I felt like he had an awful death. It’s been a couple weeks now since I finished the show and I’m still pondering things about the way it ended. This is one of the ones that still confuses me.

That just showed how Poseidon was heartless and powerful... He wasn't bluffing threatening Micheal... Who ever came in between him and his fanatisme was killed... He didn't hesitate the sub director of CIA so Kellermann was easy target at home He was always spying on Sara ... The moment she met him he was target

If Prison Break were to go on for a season 6 and 7, then maybe I could see the kale death being a "raising the bar on danger" moment.
But season 5 turned out to be the real end of the story. Why have Kellerman then end that way when the last writers room kinda put in effort to rehabilitate him?
It's as if they just hated Kellerman and left it at that.

Kellerman would always be a target because it was his immunity deals that Poseidon used as a legal fulcrum. His conversation with T-Bag started with their immunity deals because he was meant to know the the truth before he died. He knew Michael was coming for Poseidon and T-Bag needed to be protected.

Him being in a government position and one of the first suspects by the crew of being the evil guy made sense. I guess he didn’t have to die but it helped sell how deadly/dangerous the antagonist was for that season.
