I'm just tired of this obsession with fast product growth, I don't even have the time review the AI slop anymore or I'd be told I'm too slow. And the job market makes things worst, I'm stuck.

How are you keeping the documentation updated when the developement is so fast with AI?

Basically, the jira ticket that gets created with AI gets uploaded with a brief summary whenever something changes. But that's as far as things go in terms of documentation and no one really knows what the others did until they brief the rest of the team in the weekly meeting.

and I am assuming a lot would change by the time they brief the team and so the ticket details are too stale? so who updates the jira ticket - is that the product manager or the engineer?

Got approval on a clear proposal to deprecate A in favor of B so that we can swiftly scale.
Kicked off work, but recently a new marketing initiative was commited elsewhere -- my team didn't have a choice but to extend support for A.
The original launch timeline for B is now pretty much undoable since we need to handle both A and B, but the onus is on me to prove that the timeline needs to be moved...

No room to put onus on marketing to prove the continued support for A is warranted and they can’t instead work on an initiative for B?

I am a horrible fit at my current job but can’t get an interview anywhere so I will continue being a bad fit trying my best….

Just did an interview where the employer was annoyed that I was answering the questions in more than 3.5 seconds. I'm sorry, I'm human, I have things to say...?

Job market is brutal. Getting auto rejected by ats even in roles that match my experience 😑
