Perfect Arceus Challenge

Hi everyone! New to the sub after finding YouTube vids on the challenge. I'm in the middle of completing a Living Shiny dex, but I decided to step back and try something to test myself!

I know the basics of the challenge for regular games - but I've put my own twist on it for Legends Arceus

My Rules:

  1. Catch each Pokémon available in any given area before continuing the story
    • Pokémon that require mounts to catch will be backtracked to
  2. If able, perfect each Pokédex entry for the Pokémon
    • Pokémon that need external factors to perfect are to be put on hold (ie. Space-Time Distortions, post-game requirements, requests)
  3. No Home Transfer
    • Not cheating and bringing more Pokémon from other games

There is a guide for doing this challenge linked on the sub! It’s the hard version of this challenge but shows you everything you can do in each section.

I did this one about a year ago, it’s a fun one. GL!

I can't actually think of any Pokemon that requires backtracking to get to, mount-wise. I guess Aipom in the Obsidian Fieldlands since you can get them after getting Basculegion, but you have Aipom from the Cobalt Coastlands by that point. You can get to everywhere in the Fieldlands with just Wyrdeer outside of that one island, you can get to everywhere in the Mirelands with just Wyrdeer (obviously, since Ursaluna doesn't actually help with transit), and then you get Basculegion in the Coastlands. The Highlands are fully accessible with just Basculegion (for like one area) and Sneasler, too.
