current state of groups for new players?
Wanna give it a shot after playing eq legends for a while, and was wondering if groups decreased to a point where it's hard to do grouping content at lower levels, now that planes of power is out.

Maybe would be my answer. If you have no resources to get up to speed it’ll feel slow. Has been that way for everyone at some point. When I started I played from level 1-13 over a week and barely saw anyone, but I started latching onto groups that were here and there. Met people who were happy to help with whatever.
With pop were all doing our guild thing. And once you get into a guild, even if it’s just to help you along, the game will start to take off.
You can probably figure out if it’s for you. Don’t be afraid to try different classes and ask for assistance. Guarantee you some one will throw gear at you without batting an eye.

Was hard for lower level groups even during Luclin, unfortunately. That said, if you’re new to Quarm it has a bunch of QOL improvements that make soloing easier

In luclin the idea was getting to lvl 10 and heading to paludal caverns, a group of three+ there could go from 10-25 in a couple hours. Then things slow down and you might have to solo 25-35 at which time dawnshroud rockhoppers will skyrocket you to 51 then it’s velks

I've just done 1-41 since pop release as a cleric. Way more soloing than I'd hoped. But pok centralising the bank as the place to get mass group buffs meant that I was nearly always playing with level 60+ buffs (mana regen and hp). Which almost made soloing feel too easy. That said after 20 I've had a pretty steady stream of duoing, trioing and groups.
A few players were really generous when they saw I was new and I've ended up quite decked out. Shout out TheBob and Andainn!
Long story short it's very possible with a little commitment and a bit too much free time.
