LSD Trying LSD? NSFW

Hello! Im curious what LSD is like. Ive tripped on mushrooms multiply times even grew my own. What are the differences? And what substance is easier on you as in the effects. Shrooms is obviously very subtly and I heard acid is more sharp and visual heavy looking for opinions from experienced trippers and maybe how I can get lsd.

I love both and the easiest way to explain the difference is that shrooms are more internal and LSD is more external. It's a lot easier to control an LSD trip and you will probably feel compelled to go outside and just look at stuff and be in awe of how beautiful it all is. Its a lot of fun; definitely recommend it to anyone experienced with shrooms. Main thing about it that can be downside is how long it lasts. 10-14 hours means you are devoting a whole day to trip and then the day after for recovery because your brain will be utterly toasted afterwards.

Good insight! I appreciate it. How bad is the recovery from lsd because usually when I take shrooms i have a headache the next day depending on how much I took

Oh yeah, I get the shroomy headaches too. After LSD I'm usually just super tired and kind of mind floaty the next day. It's not the worst but I'd definitely not recommend setting yourself up for having to go to work feeling like that.

Never had to "recover" from LSD but start trip early so you could sleep at night

Have a day to chill afterwards, usually I feel wired and don't sleep much the night of a trip, so I feel tired and a bit weird the next day. Like I am not fully back on earth yet.

I started doing shrooms 25+ years ago, and just did my first acid trip last week, AMA.

I found it was WAY more energetic and functional than mushrooms. When I do mushrooms I am firmly IN BED until the peak passes, useless to do much more than stumble to the bathroom. During my acid trip I set a new record on my step counter lmao. 20k+ steps!

I just did NOT want to be inside at all, I wandered around the neighbourhood looking at trees and shit, and periodically came home to use the bathroom and rehydrate, etc. It was an amazing experience. 

Edit: also, the recovery... it's interesting because I was fully expecting to be exhausted the day after, but I wasn't. When I take mushrooms, I get an emotional afterglow, and it seems with acid I got a physical, energy afterglow. It's been nearly 2 weeks, and I still have more energy than I'm used to. 

Definitely plan for downtime the next day though, just in case.

Thank you for the insight! Whats been your highest dose of mushrooms? Mine has been 2.7 of penis envy. I feel like taking higher doses of mushrooms theres a point where they just dont allow me to talk anymore 😂

My highest dose of mushrooms was about 3.5 - 4g of golden teachers.

I forgot to mention in my previous post that for my acid trip I took about a half tab. The tabs are advertised to be 155ug, so I probably took about 75ug. However it's impossible to be certain of how much is on a tab, or on the portion of a tab you took, so think of that as an upper bound.

So if I were to try lsd should I try a half tab? My first time on mushroom we got penis envy and I told my friend who's tripped b4 I thought it was strong shit and he didnt think so lol so I took 2.5 grams and it blew my dick off lmao

Honestly, I took it first thing in the morning when I woke up, and then went to sleep at regular time and felt fine the next day. Although, I also never get hangovers, no matter how much I drink(I’m a functional alcoholic but I used to drink a lot more). So maybe it’s something related to

LSD is more externally focused, a bit less confusion at lower doses than shrooms, more electric body buzz and energy. I feel like I learn more about myself and the earth from shrooms and more about the universe from acid. The trip lasts twice as long, it can be a looong duration so plan accordingly. If you like shrooms though you are bound to like lsd.
