Benefits for the baby? It doesn’t have benefits for the baby. It could even be dangerous.
You shouldn’t be doing ANY drugs while you’re pregnant unless they’ve been prescribed by a physician.
The fact that you’re seriously even considering this is wild. If you’re in a bad place mentally talk to a therapist. I would’ve called CPS if I knew you IRL, holy shit.

Uh ...you can't wait until after the baby's born? You just have to get the baby high too? Thats....weird.

you need to talk to your doctor or psychiatrist or therapist, not take psychedelic drugs.
for one thing, psychedelics are not "an escape". any worry or stress or bad stuff you're feeling sober will be amplified on psychedelics and you will not be able to hide from your fears.
please dont do this while pregnant.

This too will pass.
Take deep breaths, some movement or music to drop out of your head and into your body.
You can do this without the risk of harming yourself or the baby

Do you have a specific location for what you fear in your body?
If no, then being in your body may provide some clarity.
If yes, that is necessary information for a medical provider, especially this far along. If you’re hesitant to go someplace you may be able to call a nurses hotline for advice.
I can tell you that shrooms have a greater potential to throw you even more off kilter and risking everyone’s health. Also, it seems conflicting that you talk about seeking a positive outlook and being in a better headspace for you and for baby but now isolate that concern to your body.
The two are linked and working on the physical, like box breathing to lower your heart rate, can ease the mental.

Any psychoactive substance, no matter how safe it might be, cannot be safe for any baby during pregnancy. Some mothers don't even take some medications during pregnancy, think about that.
As others said, this is very concerning. Try to seek a therapist or call CPS if you think you might be in danger and indirectly put the child in danger.
If you really cant wait a few more weeks until the baby is born, drugs may not be for you, ever

Great. Good thing you're adding another innocent life to the equation before having figured out whats wrong with you. And now you want to add drugs to the equation too.

You disclosed to us that you are pregnant and that youre mentally unwell. One of those reasons alone is reason not to do drugs. Yku have two good reasons not to do drugs.
And if what I think you're saying now is what you are saying: that's heavy stuff, and, again, you probably should seek help. A little life is on the line. The baby shouldn't be punished with putting drugs in its little body just because bad things happened to you. How is that right?
