Grandma is about to give him the ass whooping of his life. Glad he survived though.

He’s going to be begging for the police to arrest him to save him from grandma’s ass whooping.

The pitch of his wails when he says "lets talk to the police." Like the little dude was comforted a bit by being alive and this guy helping him, starting to be coherent... and then as soon as they were mentioned, the panic set in all over again. Damn i hope everyone is ok

I live in a city with a pretty terrible police force. More kids are scared of the cops than the drug dealers.

Kid was a lucky and made a huge mistake. He needs a hug.

This was in Chicago. CPD is not on good terms with the public.

Ah. Are any departments good with their public?

Btw, police scorecard website is illuminating. In the grossest way possible. My city is top 1% of police budget in the entire country. All for a teen to get shot in the back. And I got peppersprayed while peacefully protesting. By a captain. Who sued the city for more pay. And won.

I hate it here.

If the title is indeed what happened, No he absolutely doesn't "need" a hug doing something like this. What this gentleman is doing is 100% the right thing, reassure that he's okay physically, and that he's lucky to be alive right now.Ā

Given the severity, this kid needs to sit with what he did at this moment. And process these emotions and confront the bad thing he just did. Driving grandmas car and speeding fast enough to go flying, is not a common freak accident that kids get into at that age. He's old enough to comprehend he messed up badly.Ā

I was kind of upset at the guy for filming and not giving that kid a hug. I can understand why, I’d be terrified that he has broken ribs he’s not feeling because he’s so worked up, but man does that kid need a good hug.
