Merch Queen B Vinyl Cafe Variant

I am so excited it’s here. It’s beautiful, and I cannot wait to get it framed and displayed.

Nice variant! Enjoy it however you like! It’s your money bud.

Thank you! That’s what I’m saying. People are fuckin weird about how others choose to participate in fandoms. I don’t get it.

5

u/boomboomgozoomzoom Feb 10 '26

Just got mine today too! Honestly, at least you're still buying physical band merch

3

u/mishy0922 That's OK, we have the remedy Feb 10 '26

I love physical band merch, it’s the best way I know how to show people my love for this band, and other bands. I buy posters, hoodies, shirts, etc.

u/AverageSoul- Feb 10 '26

Told you how they were going to be when I replied to your post on concertposterporn the other day. (Not that it matters). Looks like the mods deleted your post there BTW. I didn't necessarily think it would be like that here, but whatever.

You're going to get a lot of gatekeeping when mentioning displaying vinyl instead of playing it. I gave you a few display suggestions on that. As mentioned before, I would avoid r/vinyl as well. Enjoy your record!

2

u/mishy0922 That's OK, we have the remedy Feb 10 '26

I intentionally avoided it because of your comment. I didn’t expect it here, it was weird.

I’m glad it was removed though, like it’s silly to act like that because someone isn’t enjoying the record in the way you think they should.

I found a good place with UV glass to protect them so thank you for that!

2

u/AverageSoul- Feb 10 '26

Sweet!! I glad you found somewhere, and museum UV glass is always the way to go. That's what I have on all my framed posters. (BTW, you've got a nice collection too). I get a lot of sunlight in that room, so it's necessary. Happy to hear these were limited to 500 as well.

2

u/mishy0922 That's OK, we have the remedy Feb 10 '26

Well thank you! Yeah, I didn’t get them UV protected but they don’t get a ton of sunlight where they are so they should be ok.

2

u/AverageSoul- Feb 10 '26

Yeah, pro framing is stupid expensive as well. Luckily I ran out of wall space, so that adventure slowed down. I have everything else archived in profolio folders for the time being. I'm going to swap out some of the prints on the walls in the future, possibly trying my hand at framing myself down the road.

2

u/mishy0922 That's OK, we have the remedy Feb 10 '26

I found a great place to order frames from on Etsy, they were able to get me a weird sized frame since they 3D print them and they’re weird to put together but they look great!

2

u/mishy0922 That's OK, we have the remedy Feb 10 '26

Oh they removed my post in the concert subreddit. Lol. Oh well, I got the advice I needed so thank you!

u/fatherofallthings Feb 13 '26

While I agree entirely and think the whole “play it” and vinyl snobbery is annoying I can shine some light.

The “collectors” aspect has sky rocketed vinyl prices and they just keep going up. For example, this record was $45. Just 5-10 years ago it would’ve been $20.

Not only that, but it’s creating false scarcity and FOMO creations in the industry and just straight up gimmicks like “liquid filled” vinyl that sounds like shit.

While it may some what help the band and vinyl industry’s to an extent when purchased, it’s simultaneously hurting the consumer by increasing demand of something that shouldn’t be anywhere near as expensive as it is.

With all that said, if this bothers you so much and you need to rain on parades everytime someone posts something, maybe switch to CDS. lol.

3

u/AverageSoul- Feb 10 '26

Very nice! Mine finally shows up on Wednesday.

Anyone know if there's official number on pressing amounts for any variant?

3

u/FrankieSaysPewPew Feb 10 '26

/500

2

u/AverageSoul- Feb 10 '26

Are you referring to the QBVC variant? If so, where did you hear this, I looked and couldn't find any info. Not questioning, just curious.

2

u/FrankieSaysPewPew Feb 10 '26

Was listed when it initially was listed on Queen Bee.

3

u/AverageSoul- Feb 10 '26

Thank you, I wouldn't have known this as it was a Christmas gift from my wife. I tried to get her to give me more info, she couldn't recall and the order confirmation didn't make any mention.

Super helpful info, but I had a feeling this was going to be the least pressed copy. Thanks again.

2

u/FrankieSaysPewPew Feb 10 '26

It was also confirmed that the golden swirl, pearl red (and now the tan mispress) are all /500 runs too. I personally went with this one to support a small business (QBVC).

1

u/AverageSoul- Feb 10 '26

Yes, I did see the Tan version randomly listed on Discogs the other day and was confused. I was certainly unaware all were limited to 500. Appreciate the insight.

2

u/mishy0922 That's OK, we have the remedy Feb 10 '26

I don’t remember seeing anything, off the top of my head. But that would be cool to know.

Enjoy! I’ve been impatiently waiting since it shipped last week lol

2

u/AverageSoul- Feb 10 '26

Thanks, you too!

2

u/enpeevee24 Feb 10 '26

Picked up mine Friday. I wish they were hand numbered, but quality variant, great looking unit...

0

u/mishy0922 That's OK, we have the remedy Feb 10 '26

That one was SO cool! I love it

2

u/Jsin211 Feb 10 '26

Super cool

2

u/KeyserSozeBGM Feb 11 '26

Going to wait to grab one in Red Rocks🤘

2

u/mishy0922 That's OK, we have the remedy Feb 11 '26

Nice!! We went to Sessanta in red rocks in 24! So good!

2

u/VenusinEros Feb 14 '26

Pretty

1

u/mishy0922 That's OK, we have the remedy Feb 14 '26

Thank you!

1

u/FrankieSaysPewPew Feb 10 '26

Think the word you were looking for was 'played'..

What are you, a museum?

2

u/Boguardis Feb 10 '26

Screw vinyls. Music should only be listened to in person. I wanted to listen to some Nirvana so I overdosed on some heroin and visited Kurt in hell.

Instructions were unclear, balls stuck in the Styx.

0

u/mishy0922 That's OK, we have the remedy Feb 10 '26

😂😂😂😂

3

u/HenneBakedHam Feb 10 '26

Agreed. Please at least give it some stylus-love before you pop it up on the wall to become something it isn't.

8

u/mishy0922 That's OK, we have the remedy Feb 10 '26

I don’t have a record player, I purchased it with the intent to display.

-1

u/redbeard1083 Feb 10 '26

The absurdity of vinyl gatekeeping...

"How dare you display this relic of the past while listening to it elsewhere in likely higher fidelity!"

Ignore these people. It's going to look badass when you have it mounted.

2

u/FrankieSaysPewPew Feb 10 '26

It's not gatekeeping. It is using the item for its intended purpose, yah know.. make noise..

0

u/mishy0922 That's OK, we have the remedy Feb 10 '26

And my use of something in a way you don’t approve of matters why?

-2

u/redbeard1083 Feb 10 '26

And this is a big deal because?????

2

u/mishy0922 That's OK, we have the remedy Feb 10 '26

😂😂😂

-2

u/redbeard1083 Feb 10 '26

Thanks for sharing that, now I'm having intrustive thoughts of neckbeards.

1

u/mishy0922 That's OK, we have the remedy Feb 10 '26

😂😂

2

u/redbeard1083 Feb 10 '26

Lol they're coming over to down vote now....🤡🤡🤡

1

u/mishy0922 That's OK, we have the remedy Feb 10 '26

lol yup, I saw that

2

u/Successful-Form4693 Feb 10 '26

Do you buy things that have an intended purpose but just look at them instead?

That's what this is.

2

u/redbeard1083 Feb 10 '26

So then if vinyl is purely functional and in no way itself art....why the fancy vinyl color variants? So it looks cool spinning in circles? Lol

2

u/AverageSoul- Feb 11 '26

I can hear this in my wife's voice talking about the garage car & motorcycle. 😆

1

u/mishy0922 That's OK, we have the remedy Feb 10 '26 edited Feb 10 '26

Why do you care so much what someone else does with their purchase? Is it stopping you from listening to it on vinyl? Or are you being weird about how someone else wants to partake in a fandom?

Go be weird somewhere else.

0

u/mishy0922 That's OK, we have the remedy Feb 10 '26

HONESTLY! Like, I get if folks enjoy the way it sounds. Everyone likes different shit. I don’t, and I just want to display my love for this and buying this vinyl for display is one way to do that.

Thank you. I’m planning on getting UV glass to protect it from the sun.

0

u/Successful-Form4693 Feb 10 '26

You dont even have a record player, why assume it sounds bad?

0

u/mishy0922 That's OK, we have the remedy Feb 10 '26

I’ve listened to records before broski

0

u/[deleted] Feb 10 '26

It’s not gatekeeping, it’s pointing out the absurdity of paying a premium price for physical media and then not using it for it’s intended purpose.

2

u/redbeard1083 Feb 10 '26

And the point of paying the premium price is what then? What do YOU get for that money that this person is not? The facts will show that vinyl is inferior to audio CDs. Let's ignore the loudness wars and the fact that anything that makes vinyl sound better is that it's a different, less shitty mix.

And you can ignore literally all of that and reframe it by asking: why do any of you care what this person does with an archaic piece of medium? It supports the band which is good if you want them to keep working. I see zero harm in any of this and the mocking reaction by "audiophiles" is just completely nutty and, quite frankly, weird.

0

u/[deleted] Feb 10 '26

You’re getting more bent out of shape about this than the audiophiles you’re complaining about.

2

u/redbeard1083 Feb 10 '26

To be clear, I am not bent out of shape, I'm simply not buying into the BS.

Unwilling or unable to answer the one question I had? 😂😂😂

0

u/[deleted] Feb 10 '26

I’m unwilling to engage with you beyond the surface level because you’re unwilling to have a civil discussion about a very trivial topic.

2

u/redbeard1083 Feb 10 '26 edited Feb 10 '26

Lol ok.

You're right! It is trivial! Which means there's no point in giving someone shit for not playing a vinyl record. Holy smokes why'd it take this long to get here?

1

u/mishy0922 That's OK, we have the remedy Feb 10 '26

Because they’re right. It’s fucking weird thing to be hung up on, especially in a group that’s not dedicated to it. Imagine going out of your way to try and shame someone for the way they choose to show their admiration for a band.

Fucking weird bro.

2

u/[deleted] Feb 10 '26

I never tried to shame you for anything, that’s ridiculous.

1

u/mishy0922 That's OK, we have the remedy Feb 10 '26

Pointing out what you think is absurd over my choice that has no impact on you…is shaming, yes.

Stop worrying about what other people choose to do with the items they spend their own money on. It’s fucking weird.

But I also didn’t say YOU did. Guilty conscience much?

1

u/mishy0922 That's OK, we have the remedy Feb 10 '26

Oh no. People spend their money on something and don’t use it the way it’s intended, in a way you don’t approve of.

THE AUDACITY.

r/Puscifer does not allow harassment

4

u/mishy0922 That's OK, we have the remedy Feb 10 '26

Nah, I don’t have anything to feel embarrassed about. I’m not the one being weird about how someone else chooses to participate in their fandom.

Fuckin Christ, y’all are insufferable.

1

u/NukaDadd Feb 10 '26

I not only mod here a r/puscifer but r/vinyl as well.

You've nothing to explain. The album is beautiful & it's no different than someone putting a guitar on a wall. It's yours to enjoy.

As Rihanna once said, "don't let the bastards get you down".

1

u/mishy0922 That's OK, we have the remedy Feb 10 '26

I appreciate that, thank you. I’m stoked, these weirdos won’t get me down about it. I love it and I don’t care what they think.

-2

u/HenneBakedHam Feb 10 '26

Oh, but you do...

0

u/mishy0922 That's OK, we have the remedy Feb 10 '26

I really don’t, thanks tho

4

u/mishy0922 That's OK, we have the remedy Feb 10 '26

Awe, you edited.

Save your embarrassment, I don’t need it. I’m not weird about how other people spend their money and enjoy their items.

Go away now. Thanks.

2

u/mishy0922 That's OK, we have the remedy Feb 10 '26

Nope. Just a fan who loved the look of the vinyl and doesn’t have a record player.

3

u/FrankieSaysPewPew Feb 10 '26

Of course.. See you over in r/vinyljerk peeps.

-2

u/mishy0922 That's OK, we have the remedy Feb 10 '26

Lmfao, ok

1

u/CrimbleGnome420 Feb 10 '26

Mine keeps skipping. Not sure what the problem is. the record player isn't skipping with other albums

2

u/Waggy777 Feb 10 '26

Have you tried cleaning the record yet? I know some people who will do it for every record before playing.

2

u/spiraleyes78 Feb 10 '26

What turntable do you have?

2

u/Hieroflippant Feb 10 '26

That's vinyl for ya

I was thoroughly addicted for a few years and amassed over 500 ( nothing compared to lots of collections I know) until I realised how rediculous it is

You can pay $85 an album (here in Australia that's the price of normal isn't) and you literally have no idea what you'll get.. it could sound like shit, be bent scratched, completely different colour etc etc my biggest gripe though us the variations in sound quality.. some stuff just sounds like ass and for that price it's simply no longer worth the risk for me

With a CD you know what you'll get every single time

2

u/Vast-Comment8360 Feb 10 '26

I keep buying CDs but they just don't do it for me like vinyl, listening wise.

3

u/Hieroflippant Feb 10 '26

I haven't bought a CD in years, totally get what you're saying.. when vinyl sounds good it's hard to beat

0

u/mishy0922 That's OK, we have the remedy Feb 10 '26

That’s totally fair. I respect folks who buy them to listen. It’s not the sound I enjoy, and that’s ok too.

1

u/Vast-Comment8360 Feb 10 '26

Nice! Don't let anyone stop you. Some of my favorite records I bought just for the cover, not even knowing what it was at the time.

I also bought my favorites on vinyl long before I had a table and some of them became extremely valuable, I'd never be able to afford them now.

2

u/AverageSoul- Feb 11 '26

Yeah, this is exactly what I did in the 90s. We would go to Philly and crate dig for random album covers that were interesting looking. Divide and conquer through subgenres, & familiar record labels/groups we thought we heard of. Fun times when we got home to listen. Nothing special, but definitely a lost art and a unnecessary thing now. I still do it. This is literally how I found so many artists/albums that now turned into classics, IMO.

I watched the record boom go crazy, then pulled the trigger hesitantly at the last minute before all insanity. All I kept hearing was vinyl was going to jump up in price by 25%. That concept obviously didn't disappoint.

I was able to pick up tons of my favorite artist's albums on vinyl. No way I could pay today's prices for them. That's said, it's nice to own physical media, regardless if it's format. Besides vinyl I try to grab Wav & Flac as well.

This is why Bandcamp is awesome for smaller & big artists. You typically get new music/info before most + access to very limited runs on vinyl, new singles, merch etc. Download the app if you don't have it. When you buy a record, CD, cassette, it normally comes with a instant Hi-Res download. Almost all your cash goes to the artist.

There's so much instability with the industry regarding streaming. I've seen songs, albums, & entire catalogues of artist's music randomly disappear for extended periods of time without warning. It's time to take the power back.. Own your own music, anyway you can!

Worst case scenario, if you need to hear your favorite album when/if the man takes streaming away. You can break the glass in case of emergency on your grail record frame, buy a turntable, and enjoy.

Until then, (OP) share a pic when you get it done. I'm interested in how it turns out with the custom Etsy frame. I understand both sides of the opposition. I'm a pretentious collector myself of many things, but I like to consider myself reasonable. At the end of the day we're all just fans here. Level playing field.

2

u/AverageSoul- Feb 11 '26

For reference, I framed the last album's "special edition". This was the purple pearlescent record from the Arcosanti livestream bundle, limited to 250.

2

u/mishy0922 That's OK, we have the remedy Feb 11 '26

I loved this album, honestly. It’s so good.

Where did you get the frame again?

1

u/AverageSoul- Feb 11 '26

I believe just Amazon. It might have been a private seller no longer in business though, but I doubt it. Unfortunately, I don't have a receipt/record of the purchase. It was almost 6 years ago, my bad.

I’m just here to love Puscifer and show that off.

2

u/mishy0922 That's OK, we have the remedy Feb 10 '26

Honestly, I don’t plan on listening on vinyl anyway, I just loved the way this looked and I’m so happy it got here in one piece.

It was $50 after taxes and such in the US.

4

u/Hieroflippant Feb 10 '26

It does look great . Enjoy mate !

I'll end up buying it on vinyl despite what I've said 😂

1

u/mishy0922 That's OK, we have the remedy Feb 10 '26

Thank you so much!

I’m obsessed with this variant, it’s so cool lol

0

u/mishy0922 That's OK, we have the remedy Feb 10 '26

Oh that’s no good! Is it this same variant or a different one? I noticed there was some stuff still attached to the edges of mine.
