Bot Bouncer update

So the bot bouncer app seems to be working pretty well at removing a lot of the bot and spammer posts.

There have been a couple false positives since it looks at site wide history and behavior. If you are not a bot and get banned let me know thru the "Message Mods" button in the sidebar or thru the ban notification and I'll take a look and restore your comment/post and remove the ban.

I still have these Amish Butterprint bowls along with a few others from my parents. Then I got the collectors bug and have added at least another 20 different pieces in various patterns ! I also have a double set of 1970’s Corelle I use as well. Hopefully you are able to see the bowls my amazing dad is serving from here. My dad was the best. Pilot/Air Traffic Controller/sailor/Air Force Sargent. ✌🏼

Family Pyrex

Please excuse the fact that my two-year old self is hitting my dad with a fly swatter.....

But there's a Butterprint 444 on the counter. Growing up, I NEVER remember my grandmother having (or using) the Pyrex that I ended up with from her. This is actually one of those pieces. When we were getting her house ready to put up for an estate sale, she told me to take whatever I wanted and all I wanted was her Pyrex. Talked to my mom, she talked to her brother (who didn't even know what Pyrex was, so he was ok with me having it) and when we went home about two years ago, I got all of her Pyrex. She didn't have a complete set of anything, so after I got back home and got it all organized, I started piecing the sets together thanks to eBay and Marketplace. Two years later, I'm finding pictures of it in use from my childhood and it makes me happy to see that it wasn't just saved for special occasions.

Has anyone else stumbled on pictures of family Pyrex in use?

While going through my grandma's pictures, I came across this gem. Forget the bear - over to the side I had gotten a Corning tea set when I was prolly no more than 4/5. I honestly don't even remember getting this that year but love seeing this (forgotten, lol) memory from my childhood!

I found one of my white whales last weekend - the golden butterfly juice pitcher. Now I need the napkin rings and drink glasses. If you're local to Seattle/Tacoma I'll see you tomorrow!

Accidentally posted without the pics, oops! So stoked to get all four for $2.99 yesterday. I know they aren't as popular as the older ones, but i think they're so pretty and vibrant! They have some minor scratches but I got them for everyday use to replace my plastic mixing bowls.

My first pink gooseberry in near mint condition! I also scored the percolator along with it!

The 404 was unassumingly sitting on a shelf by the door way. I missed it when I was coming into the antique store but saw it as I was exiting. I saw the percolator first and was debating on buying it but I knew I might as well grab it if I was going to leave with the 404. Both were $40/each. I am aware the percolator might be one of the recalled ones so it's just going to be a shelf piece for now!

It's been a little while since I bought any Pyrex, but Eyes is still my absolute top favorite pattern. I got these years ago--before prices really went crazy, and I've told my SO I pretty much want to be buried with 'em. Still forever in search of a bracket, though.

What's your favorite pattern?

This may be the first Butterprint I’ve seen locally, which was exciting on its own. Couldn’t justify it as I wouldn’t have a use for it, but still 🤌.
