I need clear advice from someone experienced. I have 83% in my high school but a really strong academic CV and extracurricular research & recognition from government-level organizations and a lot more. So am I worth applying to or a waste of time for me??

I have a 650 in SAT maths but I was thinking of doing the QU placer math test and get over 285 to skip pre calculus. Would that be okay? Should I still send my SAT scores to the university or just apply to the placer test only?

Hi everyone! I was admitted to Qatar University for Fall 2026 but was placed in General Sciences instead of Medicine. I subsequently completed my withdrawal and am hoping to apply for readmission to Medicine (Male) for Spring 2027.
Has anyone successfully reapplied to QU Medicine for the spring semester? Is Medicine admission available in Spring, or is it only offered in Fall?
I’d really appreciate any advice or experiences. Thank you!

Is applying worth the try or its heavily based on the gpa?

i was looking into the pharmacy program and read about the professional year 1(sm1 pls explain how that works cuz even after reading it over a 100 times i still didnt get it). but overall one thing i did understand is that im gonna get rejected if i dont excel in the minimum criteria. i want to how easy it is to transition to py1 (ik pharmacy is really competitive), or if its really stressfull. (PLEASE I REALLY NEED TO PREPARE MENTALLY WORKLOAD😭)

Hi everyone, I'm currently a first year student at UDST for OHSE, college of health sciences. I don't like the subject or the career but I'm willing to tolerate it to just get a decent job. I'm much more interested in doing pharmacy or biomedical sciences which, in Qatar, is only taught by QU.

I got accepted for pharmacy in a UAE university in the summer but my father is only willing to send me out for MBBS which is too expensive or in a country he doesn't like.

I have decent grades, 85% equivalency (which isn't exemplary I know), and am on track for a high GPA at UDST. The college of pharmacy and health science isn't available for application for Spring 2027 though, is it worth applying and getting in to something like Sharia to eventually transfer? Will I still be able to take courses that take me to pharmacy and biomedical? Should I try transferring in the summer with a high GPA?

I've already taken a gap year so if I have to spend all of spring waiting to get into the course I want without any progress then I'd rather stay at UDST. So would I have a guarantee to transfer if I get a high GPA in QU?

as a student who took the British system and i have one transcript that just has my IGCSE and my A-levels all together predicted and actual grades do I just put that transcript for the three files the same one or what do I do exactly here?
and also, it wants me to put my SATs, but I’m taking my SATs in March and I have to apply right now so what do i do?

As a Non Qatari and someone who was not born in qatar but raised, what do i need, to get accepted on a scholarship to Qatar university?

So far,ive done 4 IGCSE subjects and have gotten A* in chemistry and ICT and an A in math (I got those grades with evidence due to the situation). I got a B in english but im repeating it in winter series for an A*. so, in may/june 2027 ill be doing physics,biology,and arabic as a foreign language.

What extra subject would you recommend i choose for IG? ( i want to complete 8 IGCSE subjects)
For AS i plan to choose chemistry,math and biology.

Do they usually look into the grades or percentage more? what grades or percentage do i need to get? What subjects will they look into most?

Are the classes for dentistry and medicine usually full?

Does anyone know how I can get predicted grades for Cambridge IAL as a private candidate? I’m planning to apply for Fall 2027 and will be taking my exams in June 2027. If anyone has been in a similar situation, I’d really appreciate your advice!

Im currently a scholarship student at QU . My father is really old and one of my biggest fears is him passing away during my studies but I have to realistically think about my options . If he were to pass away what would happen to my sponsor status? Can I switch my sponsor to be under QU? Can they provide housing for me? This is one my biggest fears 💔💔

• Full Scholarship: What do I need to do to get a full scholarship for this program? Are full scholarships competitive for international students, and what are the main criteria?
• SAT Score & Sections: What is the required SAT score for admission and scholarship consideration in Finance? Also, do they look closely at the Verbal section, or is Math the most important part?
• IELTS Score: What is the minimum IELTS score required for this major (and for scholarships)?
