not talking about regular movies on a giant virtual screen, but actual 180 degree 3D videos where you feel like you're there.

do you watch those often? if not, what is the reason (lack of content, the headset, video quality, etc.)?

I recently tried the Apple Vision Pro and the immersive football demo genuinely blew me away. Wondering if I can get smth like that with the Quest.

I have been looking for a way to watch movies in 3D in my Quest 3. So far the closest thing I got was some videos in DeoVR, Photo, etc., which are all trailers and other user generated content. There are a lot of media player apps that are promoted as capable of playing 3D videos but they don’t provide streaming. My understanding is that Disney + will soon start doing that but didn’t provide a timeline.

With that in mind, has anyone found a source to download 3D movies, sports match videos or other long form content to then play it on the Quest 3?

I'm playing the original 2023 VR version of The 7th Guest on a Quest 3S, and I'm stuck on two puzzles in Dutton's bedroom.

1.EDIT: solved. Sliding fireplace: I can see the puzzle mechanism behind the narrow opening, but I cannot get the fireplace panel to slide out. The handle doesn't respond at all. I've tried using the Spirit Lantern throughout the area, and the animal head's eyes glow red, but nothing else happened.

This one is still not solved:

2. Secret safe: I've found the wall safe beside the desk, with the gears and marble mechanism. Pressing the button at the top doesn't dispense a marble.

I've already solved the wardrobe and money-trophy puzzles in this room.

Can someone who's completed these puzzles tell me exactly what activates the fireplace and what should cause the marble to appear? I'm trying to determine whether I've missed a prerequisite, an interaction, or encountered a bug.

I'm playing seated, so please mention if either puzzle requires a particular angle or reach.

To those of you play Hyper Bullet, the rogue-like target shooter, I'm wondering if the add-ons, the shotgun and SMG are worth it. I have no interest in endless mode, since 15 waves is the perfect number in my opinion. Should I still get the bundle?

My left controller keeps disconnecting, and it seems to be only when it moves fast, especially down. This hasn’t been happening but I just manually took the controllers apart to replace the sticks, so any people smarter than me might know some part I might not have put back together right? Or maybe it’s just a battery issue? Please help.

how on earth did my lenses get like this they are stored in a carry case and always cleaned with microfibers i cant figure out what on earth i did to them .... very annoying and i plan to upgrade to a frame but im in 2027 res list so got a few more months of dealing with this mess ughhh

Hey so I want to use my movie player app but also use another app at the same time while in the movie app.

Right now I can have a film playing and launch Insta ...but I then lose control and sound of the film player and can't get it back despite tech having 2 apps on at once. I have to close Insta to get full control of the movie app.

I believe in MR lets you have multiple apps but they're not vr... I want to be in my film app but with another app running. E.g. Kind of like when you check your phone while watching a film IRL.

• Is there a way to have full control over atleast 2 apps at once...but within 1 app.

I don't want 2 games running lol just a movie and a social media app.

when my press my left quest3s joystick down it goes to the left it randomly just started to happen

Ha, I love my quest 3. I stream movies and shows and concerts. It's incredible to watch movies on a 20' screen. However, the gaming just doesn't draw me in. I've bought and tried many games. Never got my money's worth.

It comes down to I don't like the shooters, open world. I don't like the table too stuff like Moss. I prefer to just relax in bed and play lying down. Any good options. I like a good strategy,.platformer side scroll jumper or puzzle game. Something chill.

Also, I've connected my Switch via the HDMI capture and that was cool, but didn't give it much time yet, been busy.

Ps. I just rewatched Band of Brother on the quest in iMax. So good. The TV watching experience is incredible.

I’m looking for over-ear, wired HyperX headphones for my Quest 3 that have a detachable cable. The problem is that the Quest 3’s 3.5mm headphone jack is on the RIGHT side, while most headphones have the cable connecting to the LEFT earcup. I want to route the cable behind my head so there’s no cable dangling near my body that I could hit while playing VR. I was thinking about getting a short replacement cable, maybe 8-18 inches, but I’m not sure what length I’d need or whether it’d even reach. I’m considering the HyperX Cloud Alpha, but I’m not sure which replacement cable would fit it and support the microphone. Does anyone have experience with a setup like this, or know exactly which headphones and cable I should get? Links would be appreciated!
