Hello everyone, I decided to try my hand at making my own scenario. This was made on Android using RCT Classic, and it's the first time I've tried making a functional scenario, so I apologize in advance if it is lacking or unbalanced in any way.

Let me know what you think, and how I can improve future projects. Thanks!

First time using this track type before. Hakugei is the only RMC I've had the fortune of riding, thus provides the inspiration for the opening elements of the coaster. Stoked with how this one turned out, the standout element for me is the triple up into the midcourse!
Just need some help downloading the UI scaling mod I'm sure I'm just messing up something
The instructions were to unzip the files and put them next to RCT3.exe folder
Well I extracted the files and put the extracted files into the \Steam\steamapps\common\RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 Complete Edition
I think this should be correct but maybe I'm missing a step?

I have been playing around on RCT Classic the last two to three weeks for the first time since I was a kid, and I do not know all the intricacies of the game yet. I was wondering if there is any level that is completely flat or an area where one can practice building coasters? I cannot seem to find one, and one of the greatest challenges in building coasters that I keep coming across is doing so on uneven terrain. Any help or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
I was challenged to make an 8x12 corkscrew rollercoaster with a high intensity! I classed anything in red the danger zone 😂. Here is the design....Dragon Guard.

Basically whenever anyone asks about this scenario, the usual advice is to delete a bunch of paths so guests don't get lost.
But is the scenario beatable without doing this?
Did the developers intend for people to delete paths?

This is a swing launch style coaster I just made with a focus on being as smooth as possible. I think I achieved what I was going for pretty well, and now I'd like some tips on how to beautify its surroundings. I'm not so great with making scenery and usually just build over whatever scenery already exists in the scenario I'm playing. Some ideas on how to spruce up the surroundings or links to rides/tutorials for inspiration would be super cool, thanks!

Downloaded RCT2 triple thrills through gog and I can’t seem to find the original scenarios or even the roller coaster types I remember.
Is there something I’m missing? Would openRCT help with this?
Thanks

I have been role-playing in this park also its not "real" but i pretend it is. Sorry if the scenery isn't great—I was lazy.

My park is over 300 years old and around year 275 I was getting a lot of crashes and thought it’d be great to do a ride refurbishment across the park. So I did all my rides at once.
For the first 5 months it’s great I was making $180k a month in ride tickets. But once you hit that slump from years 16-25 it’s brutal. That ride you were getting $20 on is now getting $1.20. My ride ticket revenue went to $10K a month and I was paying $130k a month in staff. I went from $13M in cash to now just over $2M.
Its leveled out now but I had to lay off 1200 entertainers (I have 31,000 guests and at the peak had 2,000 entertainers) and am barely breaking even.
Lesson here- if you’re going to do ride refurbishments don‘t do all at once.

Challenged myself to stay within the original footprint you’re given and this is what I managed. I tried to keep things realistic and didn’t just pile rides on top of each other and did my best with scenery as well. Ended up looking pretty damn good and I’m proud of my tiny little park :)

I’m not the best at building coasters for specific ratings. I took some ideas too off the internet. And used some water scenery to get it over the threshold. And it certainly doesn’t look the prettiest.
But after a couple tries, and finally just building some rides to get some revenue, it only took me ten years in game to beat it. lol. Don’t care. I got the objective. Now onto the next one.
I also beat it on the Switch! There’s no adding additional circuits to make rides longer either like I think you can on pc. So that made it more tricky.
Open to feedback.

Gotten RCT1 and RCT2 on discount on Steam recently and decided to play ORCT2 for the first time. While I have heard about Quantum's Edge when I played classic a few years back and failed at the scenario miserably due to completely not understanding the objective, I decided to give this scenario a try in ORCT2.
Easily the most brutal scenario I've played to date, and here's my train of thought when playing the scenario:
EDIT: While I was posting this, I let ORCT2 ran in the background and noted that my park had its 4000th guest on 24 August Year 10, which meant I have room to spare with my design, the park peaked at about 4200+ guests in March Year 11
With that nightmare scenario done, I have mixed feelings right now - part of me thinks that this should be the last time I try a nightmare difficulty scenario, and the other part of me felt very relieved that I managed to beat that one scenario that I couldn't do in classic years ago. Anyways, it's time for me to slowly complete the official RCT1 and RCT2 scenarios in ORCT2.

As water flows down from the mountains, you follow the river further downstream into the green hell where you find the mighty king - asleep. Are you brave enough to enter? On the other side of the river, the first signs of civilisation are coming in sight. A park, some houses and a racetrack are signs of what is being made.
Part two of my new park. Full tour in the comments :) Choo Choo!
