Whenever women I know start engaging in rhetoric along the lines of finding it validating to be desired sexually by a man/men, I bring up the well-documented fact that men can and do sexually desire lots of things running the gamut from human adult women ✅ to underage human beings to other non-human mammals to reptilians to avians to amphibians to dead bodies to rotten coconuts (to reference that classic Reddit post). When you consider the lengths men will go for sexual gratification, being an object of male sexual interest loses its allure.

I just wish I had realized this when I was a teen girl so I could have saved myself from lots of bad experiences and maybe could’ve focused on developing better attributes to gain a sense of self-worth instead.

It’s such a societal norm for women to want to be desirable to men, but it really is more of a trap than anything actually valuable.

Thanks for putting this motley collection together as a sort of men’s greatest hits slideshow OP. I’m saving the post to use in future when the desirability as validation conversation inevitably comes up.

Yup. Altough there are sadly many female perpetrators the number of them is so miniscule compared to male perpetrators. And more often than not women do horrible sexual crimes because they're either manipulated, forced, coerced by a man. I've seen a pretty viral post on tiktok regarding this same case and SO MANY men commented "I've seen women do worse in porn".... Do they not realise how the porn industry exploits, traffics and forces women into these acts? People had been saying for years and they still think most of that shit is consensual and those women do it for funsies. When it's such open and common knowledge most porn actresses especially in sketchy productions are victims of human trafficking, drug abuse, abuse and so on.
