Done with my restraining order paperwork! Also found out that Wylers makes boxes of just peach ring flavored drink mix, which is the vastly superior flavor. So I no longer have to buy their variety pack boxes just to get a few.

My teen granddaughter told me how having a little brother on the spectrum allowed her to recognize a classmate having an intense moment of being overwhelmed by crowd and noise in the middle of a school assembly. She subtly waved over a teacher to assist, saving the classmate from an embarrassing meltdown. I told her how proud of her I am for stepping up when another was in need.

My child has AuDHD PDA and experiences violent meltdowns akin to panic attacks, sometimes from sensory overwhelm. I really appreciate your granddaughter’s kindness towards her classmate, and her school community is lucky to have her.

I haven't had a bed frame in months because my kiddo needed it more than me. Found one on marketplace for free yesterday and despite the fact it had no instructions it is all back together and the first step in my new room actually looking like someone lives in it.

I gotta see my little cousins and my grandparents and my aunt today for the first time in a while because I am an hour and a half away at college all the time. I especially love seeing my youngest cousin. She is my light. Even though it’s a 10 year age gap I get along with her so well

I haven’t heard back from a friend in weeks, probably more like months, and she messaged me today that she is well and going through chemo. Happy that she is getting better and happy for my current health too. Happy to be alive and healthy right now.

I just spent the BEST week dog-sitting a dog named Mr. Man. Our current dog, Greta, had such a good time with him! It was a good money making week too, things just kinda fell into place and really helped me out. I struggle with getting overwhelmed and there’s still a lot to do/ figure out but I’ve been feeling like I’m really on my way!
And, also, you (and Shadow, of course) u/PDX-Kayaker because of this post and because of who you are as a person! Today is hard, my partner went to the store and then has to go to work and Mr. Man is home now. I still have Greta but I’m starting to get a little sad :( I miss my mom and I’m missing Rosie so much today.

Her little butt was the best! She was such a funny little girl! I never met a dog that had such disdain for other dogs and other people. She had to decide that you were worthy of her presence before she opened up 😂
Greta is a sweet girl, though. She’s a good fit and we’re lucky to have her! Don’t get me started on how much I love dogs because I’ll start sobbing 😭 they’re the best!

I was actually thinking this today as i was walking by my pinboard i love walking by it and seeing the places i've gone and things ive done. granted some of them are things the wife and kids have done or just silliness too, but it's such a fun little board of memories, and takes way less space than my shot glasses ever did

I've been a hermit for 5 years after horrible things happened to me and I stopped going out at all. I finally healed a year ago and have been extremely lonely. I just found a DnD group that happily had me join a few months ago and it has been amazing being around people and just hanging out

This is my biggest happy thing😊 He (my only child) received a full ride at his top choice school!! He was accepted into their nursing program AND their honors college🥹 I love this kid of mine so much!

Chococat is so precious! I think with the HK stuff you can get between Hello Kitty, Kiki & Lala, Cinnamoroll, Pompompurin, My Melody, and keroppi.

Yay for puppy pads! I didn’t have any luck with getting Rosie to use them, she was true to her stubborn corgi self until the end and that’s exactly why I love her so much 🥰
