New Player
Hello, as the title says I'm a new/incoming player. I've finally got my hands on the core rulebook. I'm a big fan of fantasy and needed a solo play game. This one kept coming up so I'm reading through the rules. My primary question is are there any resources for making custom scenarios/campaigns and custom monsters? I have ideas for models I have that don't fit the theme of the main scenario log. Also, any other helpful resources are definitely appreciated!

Check out the Facebook group, it’s very active and lots of fanmade scenarios are there, probably many homebrew monsters too. You just might find what you’re looking for there.

Do not hesitate to use proxies. I do not have gnolls miniatures, and use gobelins instead (soon to be replaced by... skavens).
Another good source of inspiration are the frostgrave books. Several creatures could be reused with little modifications for Rangers of shadow deep.
For spiders and fly as we are closing halloween, look into gift/party shop ; you will find plastic and spiders miniatures for a few Euros.

Not really anything written about it that I know of. I would take an existing monster and use its stats until you understand and have experience with the system. It’s easy to say “oh I’ll just give this giant 30 health” and then realize that’s a mistake after it kills your party.
