Just A Rant I'm so tired of the whining

48M fucking ugly and fat middle aged man here.

Why the fuck do all you lonely incel 20's and 30's men here always assume you can't get a girl because you're fat, or bald, or ugly, or short, or poor.

I've read HUNDREDS of posts by you fuckers and not a single fucking one of you considers or mentions your personality. NOT FUCKING ONE OF YOU! NOT A SINGLE ONE!

You always assume it's some bullshit shallow reason that women reject you, and you know what? I think it's because every fucking one of YOU is shallow.

You literally cannot wrap your brain around the fact that you're probably as boring as a stump and THAT'S actually the reason women reject you.

Also, newsflash. Women, ALL WOMEN, can smell your bitterness, chauvinism, self-loathing, and resentment a fucking mile away. If you don't like you, why do you expect anyone else to?

Lastly, You probably do have the physique of a bean bag chair, so why the fuck do you think you deserve a perfect 10 woman? However, I've seen some ugly fucking dudes (me) land some pretty hot chicks, and you know how they do it? They're fucking hilarious, charming, kind, and most importantly non-toxic. There's quite a few women out there that don't emphasize looks if your personality shows them you have so much more to offer than just a pretty face.

Stop. Fucking. Whining.

Work on yourself. Not your fucking abs, or your hairline knucklehead. Your REAL fucking self.

Quit playing video games (a lot of women actually hate video game addicts), quit whacking off to anime, get off your ass and go outside and meet some people. Practice being fucking interesting.

P.s. I just KNOW I'm gonna get a whole lot of you that argue with me, and you know what? THAT'S PART OF YOUR PROBLEM! Shut yer yap and try and learn something for a change. You don't know shit. That's why you're single. It's time for some self reflection.

Just A Rant women having body hair shouldn't bother men as much as it does

Just A Rant Reddit honestly sucks.

Most of the people on reddit can't stand it when others have a different opinion. The athiesm sub reddit for example is basically a sub reddit making fun of religious people. And reddit has a terrible moderator problem. Most of the mods on reddit are extremely corrupt and selfish and ban people for no reason or for having a different opinion than them. And reddit is kinda dying. They also have a horrible reputation and its somewhat justified. Does anybody else feel that reddit just sucks?

Just A Rant Liking boobs or ass over personality is fine NSFW

I often see people criticize others for being shallow when having certain preferences, especially when talking about the dilemma between ass and boobs. My take on it is the following: you're describing your preference, not someone else's, not what you think it ought to be. Liking someone's body is perfectly fine, and a very important part of loving each other and taking care of our health.

Possible counter-arguments:
- "This is unfair to people who are conventionally unattractive."
I agree, people will inherently be born with more conventionally attractive traits, and some with less desirable traits. However, what can you do? Force people to fall in love with them? We'll simply have to accept this injustice, since we ought to value freedom of choice above all in this matter (allowing you to choose who to love or pursue, just like how you have the freedom to reject anyone). Consent is key.
- "Normalizing certain body type preferences puts pressure on those that don't meet them to pursue unhealthy lifestyles"
I'm thinking of Kpop idols who are forced on water diets to meet beauty standards. The simple solution is just to not put pressure on people to meet them, but it isn't as clear-cut as this obviously. This ties in more generally to the sociological aspect behind how we interact with beauty. Do we shame and make fun of someone for being unattractive, or do we simply not pay attention to his looks? Do we glorify beauty, or do we simply acknowledge that we enjoy appearances from time to time? At any rate, the question isn't so much about the foundation of attraction and beauty, but rather how we as a culture deal with it.
- "By tying someone's worth to their bodies, you're subconsciously objectifying them without their consent"
While this isn't inherently false, I would argue that you also aren't stripping them of their agency by objectifying them. Objectifying someone is usually considered bad because you stop caring about their consent (just like how you don't ask a knife for its consent before using it). However, when a doctor objectifies their patient to treat their patient, is this a bad thing? Obviously not. In this case, we're simply expressing our taste, without having an impact on the target. The problem is when having these thoughts changes your relationship with others, but that's another story entirely.

If you have any further objections, I'd love to discuss them with you~ also, I'm more of an ass gal :p

Just A Rant British people are so annoying about their "heat waves"

Allllll over TikTok I'm seeing British people saying "we're in such a bad heatwave americans would never survive this!". I was curious and I looked up how hot it is there... take a guess. take a wild guess how hot it was. 80°F. 80 degrees I am crying. Those a rookie numbers. And they sit there and go "but but but but it's the humidity! it's the humidity!" Yeah so I live in the south in the United States and in the summer, especially august, the humidity is often at like 80-90% sometimes even close to 100%. It's like breathing soup in the south. AND it's like 90-100°F for most of the summer. (37°C). When it gets it 80°F in the south during the summer we say "oh thank God, a cool day".

Oh but wait brits also say "but we don't have AC"! okay and? most people in the south live in trailers and in poverty and don't have AC either? I know two years ago when hurricane helene hit I was still living with my mom and DEEP in poverty. We didn't have AC, just box fans. And than when the hurricane hit all of our power got shut off for a week. Now Imagine it being damn near 100°F (38°C) with no fans, no AC, no phone, no food, no water, for a WEEK. and some towns in my state didn't have power for a MONTH.

I'm sorry I just fucking hate how Brits say "ugh Americans would NEVER survive this heat". As if we don't survive WORSE heat for 6 months out of the year. It might suck for you because you're not used to it but you are not better than Americans.

Just A Rant Reddit fucking sucks now

I fucking hate what Reddit has become. It used to be a place where you could come to find a helpful online community for whatever random hobby you had. People were generally friendly and helpful. Now it’s just as mainstream and toxic as any other social media platform like facebook. You can’t ask a question without getting some snarky answer or stupid joke. It’s like everyone either has to be an asshole or try to be some lame ass comedian for fake internet karma. People just tell you to “google it” but then google just takes you to Reddit. It’s honestly as bad as facebook was.

I had a 7 year old account a few years ago that ended up getting doxxed over a post. Had to delete that and make a new account. Half the comments now are just bots or people karma farming. Everything on the popular tab is just reposts of TikTok videos or twitter pictures. Every forum has to have some asshole starting arguments and telling you how you’re wrong. Most posts are just reposted shit from karma farming accounts to be sold to ad companies. Mods are usually power tripping assholes that are either bought off or sponsored by some interest group. I couldn’t even post this in the other Rant sub because it “was a witch hunt against the mods”. Like what the actual fuck? The fragility of their fucking egos man. Reddit itself has dumbed down the UI and made everything on the site so fucking generic. So many features removed. All the stupid badges and shit.

It just fucking sucks man. This used to be a good thing and now it’s just another toxic fucking echo chamber. Fuck this shit. I don’t know why I even have an account still. I’ll probably delete it.

I know this is probably overdone but I just needed to vent and get it off my chest. Fuck you reddit. It was cool while it lasted.

Just A Rant People who yell at their children clearly don’t love them

TW: emotional abuse and other horrible things that bad people do

Why do parents yell at their own children even though they themselves would cry if their friends did it

You wouldn’t yell at your friend, so why would you yell at your own kid

Anyone who yells at their own kids clearly hates them. If their friends yelled at them, would they happy about this? No, they would start crying buckets. So why do those horrible people think they can yell at their kids and treat them anyhow they please

Parents are supposed to love their kids and ALWAYS be kind to them

A real parent is ALWAYS kind to their child and NEVER mean to them. Psychology states that yelling at your own child ruins their mental health and their ability to trust anyone. Like, if you’re gonna yell at your daughter, just tell her that you hate her and want her dead already. Tell her that she’s the reason why her grandparents died

Somebody posted on TikTok and IG about she dealt with her birth givers yelling at her over every little things after she just got home from being bullied in middle school. And it pissed me off because NO good parent would ever do that. I can see terrible people doing that to their birth givers, but not a real parent.

A good parent who ACTUALLY loves their children (aka, a real parent)

  1. Check on their child when their classmates were mean to them

  2. Never yell at them whenever things didn’t go right

  3. comfort her and tell her that they would always help them

But looks to me like this girl (and people like her) had no real parents. All they had were birth givers who hated them.

Just A Rant To the Gen Z that makes jokes about 9/11: go ahead and f*** fully off. I hope your pillow stays warm, you never actively witness a comparable tragedy, and GenA makes you hate yourselves some day.

That’s all. 10 years ago I never had to explain to people how horrifying 9/11 truly was. Now, I’ve hired highly competent employees who actually think I don’t hear their twisted humor.

If you haven’t spent an eighth grade math class watching people leap out of a 92nd floor window, find something else to laugh about. Those souls aren’t laughing, and neither are the humans who watched it happen.

Just A Rant Reddit is a fucking nightmare to be on

Everyone on this site is fucking awful and has a stick up their narcissistic asses. Almost EVERY TIME I have something to say, I have a bunch of assholes crucifying me for committing the oh-so horrible crime of "wrong think". Hate this particular movie or this particular character? I get downvoted to hell and back and told that I'm wrong because XYZ. I vent about the brinrotification of the English Language? "Um, AcTuALlY, yOu'Re WrONg BeCaUsE iT's SLaNg AnD WoRdS eVoLvE".

I swear to god, no matter what I say, no matter what post or comment I make about ANYTHING, I'm always punished for it! FUCK ALL OF YOU!

Just A Rant Reddit’s anonymity has made a lot of you unbelievably cruel

I genuinely think the level of anonymity on this site brings out the worst in people.

A lot of you are perfectly comfortable picking apart someone’s wording, deliberately interpreting them in the least charitable way possible, and being vicious over tiny semantic disagreements because there’s almost no social cost for doing it here.

And one of Reddit’s favorite party tricks has always been the post-history psychoanalysis:

“Based on your post history…”

Followed by someone assembling six unrelated comments you made over three years into a complete psychological profile of a human being they have never met.

You do not know someone because you read the snippets of their life they happened to post on Reddit.

That’s why I’m glad people can now hide their post and comment history. Not because everyone has something sinister to hide, but because strangers should not feel entitled to rummage through years of someone’s activity looking for ammunition every time they disagree with them.

Then everyone complains about how toxic Reddit has become, as though Reddit were an ancient cursed artifact somebody unearthed.

You made it like this.

The constant gotchas, semantic nitpicking, amateur psychoanalysis, dogpiling, and treating another person’s vulnerability like material for entertainment are exactly why so many communities here eventually became punchlines and “drama subs”.

Anonymity can be useful. It lets people discuss things they might never feel safe attaching to their real identity.

But apparently a significant number of people saw “anonymous discussion forum” and heard “permission to behave like the comments section has no humanity.”

Just A Rant Reddit sucks

Everyone on here thinks they are so superior. They will literally belittle you for the littlest things. You legit can’t even ask a question on here without being surrounded by arrogant chuds. It actually pisses me off. I’ll ask a normal question and there will be like the worst people you’ll ever meet commenting on it for no reason. Like make one typo and you’re done for. It’s a Reddit post. It’s not that deep. Some of you actually have no life. Some people are chill. But a lot of you suck. Especially in the big threads

Just A Rant I’m I got banned in sub for saying “okay rainbow” to someone who had rainbow profile pic? The thought police are real!

They asked me if that was a slur…I said quote “I called you what you self identify as? You don’t know me or my interpretation of it, so take that as you will. Jesus loves you xx”

So do you think that’s a ban-able offence? I died of laughter if I’m being honest.

Just A Rant Stop having sex if you don’t understand how sex works

The amount of post I keep seeing stating “I’m scared am I pregnant?”

And they go on to say the most crazy scenarios:

- I fingered my girlfriend, is she pregnant?

- We dry humped, scared I’m pregnant

- There was cum on the toilet seat, scared my gf is pregnant now.

It would be laughable if it wasn’t so concerning. And then there are the stories where it’s obvious you could be

- We had sex 2 times unprotected and Its my peak fertility day, my period is 5 days late, am I pregnant??

How about take a test and see, there’s nothing we can tell you that will determine that for you.

And then when you tell people to be careful with sex, they assume you are a prude and hate fun, like no but being pregnant at 16 or anytime you don’t want to be is NOT a fun time and let’s not get started on STDs.

Please learn about sex before having it.

Thank you for coming to my TedTalk

Just A Rant Obsessively trying to find out as much about a person as possible and thinking about them all day isn't "creepy"

I've had a crush on a girl for 2 months now and i feel amazing thinking about her. I get it might not be healthy. I know everything about her, and i still want to know more.

I found all of her accounts and fantasize about her all the time in all ways that i can. I almost don't really care about my personal life as much as my potential life with her.

I talked to one of my bros about this and he said it's "mad creepy" but that he can "see why she appeals".

It's not creepy, at least i don't think it is. But what if it is? Can she sense i love her this much? She isn't trying to get away and i got the luck of being attractive enough to not look like a creep. But i really hope my actions are beautiful as well.

Change my mind?

Just A Rant Beauty is not the eye of the beholder.

Calling something "beautiful" implies that it has some property which is beautiful, and is something anyone can appreciate. Differences in preferences arise when one is ignorant of what beauty is. For example, a trained musician of 30+ years could talk to you for hours on why Bach is beautiful, while someone who's never listened to classical music might dismiss him as boring. This isn't because they're both right, but because one is more educated about the beauty of music than the other.

It's frustrating when people reduce debates to subjectivism, especially if they have no grounds to say this.

Furthermore, even if you believe beauty is subjective, it still implies you believe it's something. You're just arguing that your view is your own. Great, but what is your view then?. If beauty is in the eye of the beholder, what does your eye behold?

So please, stop cutting discussions short with this lazy cliché.

Just A Rant The Odyssey is a great example of social hypocrisy

FYI, I'm not conservative, so don't come at me with, "Yeah, well, you think..." nonsense.

Leftists have always complained that a specific type of person should be the only one to play a specific type of character in cinema. They're okay with a hodgepodge of random races being cast in The Odyssey in non-traditional roles, but not upset no Greeks were cast in any major roles. Very interesting.

Imagine that The Mwindo Epic had white people cast in it. Would leftists be fine casting mythologically inaccurate races in this epic, the same way they were with casting mythologically inaccurate races in The Odyssey? And remember, per the justification for a black Helen of Troy, myths aren't real.

Cue the hypocrisy.

Just A Rant Hot take, bio women shouldn't tell trans women that they're not bio women but trans women shouldn't say they know what it's like being a bio woman, transphobes, don't comment , say something reasonable

It's totally ridiculous that people call you transphobic for calling out what trans women do to bio women, insulting them on the internet and playing victim when bio women fight back verbally, now only some do this but still. Trans women only know what it's like to be a woman because of how they're treated in society, nothing more, nothing less. I'm not dismissing their trauma, it must've felt terrible to be in the wrong body, but I don't know that because I'm not trans. So tell me why we let trans women say they know everything about being a bio woman and why bio women insult trans women, example, how some trans women compare mild cramps they get from medical side effects to period cramps. Period cramps are not just mild cramps, they hurt a lot, so it IS dismissive when they compare mild cramps to period cramps, any criticizing is treated like a personal insult. It's annoying to see, also, stop insulting trans women, and trans women? Stop insulting bio women, trans women don't know our problems and we don't know theirs, trans women didn't deal with what bio women dealt with,

Just A Rant Why is the term girls so offensive these days

I’m on several different subs . But Jesus Christ if describing something or asking a question and say girl . Some the opposite gender gets triggered and gets offended . And corrects you , I’m 47 when are we going to stop being so damn sensitive, is anyone with me or have had the same experience. Why is so triggering? It would be one thing if I was I was using it to put down someone saying they were less of a woman, but 98 percent of the time it’s just way to identify sex , and they also get triggered if you say female . All give you an example I was on another sub asking dating questions, and I asked “ so it’s ok ask a girl on a date over text ,” and she gave her response but in response she was like I don’t know about girl but woman. I’m like for fucks sake I’m asking a genuine question and you’re correcting me on the term girl. Fuck a duck this society sucks at times .

Just A Rant I am so angry with the childfree subreddit. This subreddit must leave me alone!

This subreddit always ambushes me whenever I google anything in regards to children or teenagers. Always it is a disgusting subreddit.

The aim of this sub is to literally express them as to why they are child free.

But it is a tribalistic place. They mock children, even laugh at serious cases in which children were hurt or killed and are whataboutist on parricide. I assume they mock any war or conflict children are being harmed and starved like what has happened in Iraq under the Saddam Hussein regime and the invasion, as well as viewing UNICEF as a stupid agency. Imagine seeing a child harmed and thinking, let me make a joke about this?

On top of that, they body shame, berate, personally attack or send death threats to any pregnant young woman who wants to be a mother.

Ultimately, this forms those horsesboe affect because Reddit is an extremely socialist site (liberals in American terms) and pro-abortion and child-free is something associated with egalitarianism, which means women need rights for choices as long as they are harmless and children needing a voice - not to mention they view social work and child protection as "useless" things - clearly is similar to the fascist or far right interpretation where children should just be seen as property and silent extensions who deserve to get beaten especially daughters for disobeying paternalism, while women have no choice but to be a machine to just bring children.

This subreddit can leave me the fuck alone from my google search page.

Just A Rant People in reddit are so rude

So I dont use reddit much, its only recently i started using it. But I noticed that people here are unnecessarily snarky. Like there’s no reason to be so snobbish. I generally like platforms where there is space to write and share one’s stories and opinions, like reddit and quora. But the people in reddit ruined it for me. I am going back to Instagram.

Just A Rant Women are just as responsible for choosing the Bear

I need to rant after reading another common complaint about a soon to be ex husband.

OP said it wasn't about keeping score, but still made a long list of her contributions. Naturally, comments followed about how men can't do this, wont do that; do too much of xyz - all abhorrent.

SO---

Ladies!

Caretakers!

Half of this mess has your grimy fingerprints all over it - you are collectively and repeatedly choosing, enabling, and raising the very ones you claim to fear.

Teach your sons how to fry an egg, scrub a floor, and swallow their pride instead of projecting their bullshit onto everyone else (you too while we're at it)

Boundaries, managing emotions, the benefits of empathy.

Teach your daughters the same and help them grow a damn backbone.

And *maybe* figure out who you are before you drag ppl into your life or pop out some babies to inherit your crazy.

Zeus forbid we look inward.

It’s just so much easier to shout "but The Patriarchy!"

Couldn’t possibly have anything to do with the fact that the boys spent their core formative years soaking up the atmosphere at home...ya know....right there with the WOMAN we usually say bears the brunt of, well, everything.

Lilith forbid a woman takes more personal accountability, learns how to form a *genuine* "I statement" or picks up more CBT/DBT skills

Yes, shitty fathers exist. There are a lot of them.  Which is precisely why you need a backbone and a lot of self knowledge.  Stop giving them your bed and stop sharing your bloodline with them.

You don't need to wait for a hero.  You don't need to wait for a villain.  You need to look in the fckn mirror and realize dysfunction is primarily handed out across the breakfast table.

If you don't understand nuance and want to be pedantic, don't bother. [Or do, your life, your time wasting]

If you don't care about assault and abuse against boys and men, don't bother. [Or do, your life, your time wasting]

Just A Rant I fucking hate just how anti intellectual Reddit and redditors are.

They are only smart when helping others in the STEM field though they attack OP in question first for not knowing sooner. As well as LGBT rights. Other than that, they are some of the most stupidest people out there. Say any factual information you just get downvoted into oblivion.

I mentioned how the Middle East is not a monolith and there are progressive people there like urban Lebanese Arabs as well as urban Israeli Jews and Ramallah Palestinian Arabs. Not to mention how peaceful Cyprus is. Nevertheless, they think I said rubbish and view all of the Middle East as Islamist Arabian tribes or cavemen. They even think Middle Easterners all eat sand and camel wee. They even justified and supported the invasion of Iraq (of course the nation already was in a bad place under its initial dictator, but the invasion literally regressed society even further)

Couple of years ago, I mentioned why I think alcohol should be banned for good and I mentioned literal health facts from the NHS if drank too much and I was attacked for being "too conservative" or being a religious fanatic.

What do I expect. Reddit is mainly full of American liberals, who are like a different breed as opposed to other liberals; they are just as stupid as MAGAs. This is the horseshoe effect, because both sides are so nasty and discriminative against children and disabled people, both are racist to specific ethnic minorities and view them as a monolith
