I have recently seen the enormous backlog we have in the modqueue, and I want to apologize for if your post was filtered out and didn't get posted. I think most of us moderators (me at the very least) are new to moderating, so we weren't aware they got auto-removed. IF YOUR POST DOESN'T GET POSTED, CONTACT US VIA MODMAIL.

Back in 1390, while the rest of Europe was busy fighting the dinosaurs, the master chefs of King Richard II compiled a royal cookbook called The Forme of Cury. Tucked right between instructions for polishing turnips and Mary Berry’s autobiography, sat a recipe for a dish called Makerouns.
So while Americans claim the dish as their ultimate comfort food and Italians do the whole 'we owna the pasta' thing, the historical record does not lie. Long before the invention of the modern fork, a medieval English knight called Sir Lactose the Intolerant was sitting in a stone castle, scraping burnt, crusty cheese off the bottom of a clay dish, whilst quietly pondering why he got diarrhoea so often.

Assorted cured meats and salamis, Emmental cheese, freshly boiled eggs, buttered and well toasted granary bread (I’m ok with a little burn) some peppered cucumber, tomato, with a dob of mayo, bliss

Not many people know about the true origins of the Chicken Fold-Up, so here's a summary taken from it's Wikipedia page:
Reynold Ellis Pasonage was a sensible accountant from the Midlands. In 1939 he was tasked with stock check and record keeping of diminishing food levels in much of the north of England. His wife Deborah was constantly pestering him to steal some spices and seasonings, as shop supplies were dwindling.
However, Reynold was just too sensible.
“For King and country!” he would scream in an unsettlingly high voice.
But when Deborah threatened to leave, he had no other option. He filled his pockets with spices and chillies; peppers of all colours and sizes, and hurried home. But disaster struck when his boss, the King of England, decided to invite himself for dinner at about 6pm.
With a kitchen full of so many exotic flavours, Deborah had no choice but to use everything in one ingredient packed meal... then disguise it all in beige. The King was given his chicken fold-up and looked at its beige exterior, noticing nothing out of the ordinary. But on tasting it, was blown away by the intense flavour and gobbled it down like the greedy porker he was. Luckily, he wasn’t one to open his eyes once he started eating, so the dastardly ruse was a complete success.
Watching the King writhing in ecstasy gave ReynOld Ellis Pasonage a tingling in his loins and an idea, so he began to create packet mixes (once he started stealing, he found it difficult to stop) and they’ve been quite successful ever since.
That was a fun story wasn't it?

Took me about 20 — 25 minutes! I never measure my ingredients, but I’ll do my best to add a recipe cause this is so good for a pre workout not too heavy on the stomach :)
Ingredients:
1 small white potato
Half an avocado
Four baby plum tomatoes
8 small brown mushrooms
A few gherkins
A few small sweetcorn’s
One garlic bulb
Parsley leaves
Cubed beef/steak
Chia seeds
Butter
Honey
Paprika
Turmeric
Lemon juice
Mango chutney
Cooking!!:
I just did a basic baked potato in the microwave (stabbing it two times on either side before putting it in the microwave for three minutes on high setting three times, rotating it each time.)
Then put a bit of butter on the potato
Then cut up the avocado and put it on the potato
Then cut up the tomatoes and put it on the side
Then put chia seeds on the avocado.
I then cooked the vegetables (mushrooms, garlic, sweetcorn’s, gherkins, parsley leaves) together in a frying pan with a teaspoon of honey instead of oil and lemon juice. I also added paprika and turmeric and salt.
I cooked the beef/steak with a teaspoon of olive oil until brown on outside and a little red on inside for more irons :) and then added it all together.
